More Tiana’s Bayou Adventure theming has been added to the construction walls around the attraction formerly known as Splash Mountain in Magic Kingdom.
The brown construction walls resemble crates. The large “stamps” that were on the walls when they went up are for the Southern Dome Salt Company, referencing the backstory for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. “Please Keep Dry” and “Louisiana” stamps were added later.
Now the walls have square signs advertising Tiana’s Foods, also part of the backstory of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
The signs are yellow and the logo for the employee-owned Tiana’s Foods is green and purple. “Coming soon!” is below the logo.
Work has already begun on transforming Splash Mountain into Tiana’s Adventure. A crane arrived on site and some of the façade has already been torn apart.
Splash Mountain has been removed from Magic Kingdom maps, with a logo for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure over the artwork.
Two Splash Mountain pressed pennies machines have been moved to new locations and are still accessible to guests. Laughin’ Place signage was removed from the nearby play area. Splash Mountain references have also been removed from the Walt Disney World Railroad and the Liberty Square Riverboat.

Disney says that in the upcoming attraction, guests will “join Princess Tiana and jazz-loving alligator Louis during Mardi Gras season as they prepare to host a one-of-a-kind celebration for the people of New Orleans.” It’s scheduled to open in late 2024.
