Tour a Disneyland Hotel Room With Us!

Did you know that the Disneyland Hotel is one of Disney’s OLDEST properties?

Disneyland Hotel

That’s right — the hotel opened just a few months after Disneyland opened in 1955, and it’s been around ever since. Sure, it’s undergone some renovations (and is getting more right now), but it still has that classic Disneyland vibe guests know and love. But what is it like staying in a room here? Well, join us now as we give you a full tour of a Disneyland Hotel room!

We stayed in a Standard View room with two queen beds. So let’s check it out, shall we? Here’s what you see as soon as you open the door.

There’s our room!

So let’s explore! Turn around and you’ll see that the Room Occupied door hanger is available and ready to be used (always recommended if you head back to the room midday for a quick nap).

In case you need a nap or just don’t want to be bothered.

You’ll also find the Evacuation Plan map on the back of the door. Don’t forget to look at this at least once! Safety first!

Just outside the bathroom, you’ll find a mirror hanging above a counter.

Lots of mirrors in this room

You’ll find a tray with glasses and an ice bucket, as well as…

…a Keurig coffee maker, K-cups, cups, and lids.

Coffee supplies

You’ll also find a condiment kit with sugars, sugar substitutes, creamers, and stirrers.

Opposite this counter is the closet, where you’ll find a luggage rack…

…and an extra pillow and blanket.

Beside the counter is the door to the bathroom.

Peeking into the bathroom

The first thing you’ll see is a countertop with a sink and a mirror.

Sink and mirror

To the left side of the mirror is a smaller magnifying mirror (great for makeup and shaving!).

Great for makeup!

Beside that hangs a hand towel and washcloth. You’ll also find an outlet here to plug in things like the hairdryer.

You’ll find a lamp on both sides of the mirror and MICKEY is holding it! Seriously, it’s ALL about the details.

The details!

Then you’ve got your sink. You’ll also find H20 products on the counter.

H20 amenities

The middle of the table has a tissue dispenser, and you’ll find extra towels on the bottom racks.

You’ll also find a hairdryer on the bottom.

The trash can is beside the table.

For trash

On one side of the table is the toilet. It’s in its own little separate room with a door.

Toilet

You’ll find the shower and bath on the other side.

Shower and bath

The bathtub is a normal hotel-sized bathtub with a holder for the soap, and a steel bar if you need help getting up after a long soak.

Bathtub

The showerhead is also pretty standard with another holder for your soap or amenities in the corner.

Shower

This setup just uses a regular shower curtain.

The handle is Mickey-shaped!

Okay, let’s back out of the bathroom and take a look at the rest of the room. We had two queen beds. CHECK OUT THAT HEADBOARD. It’s got fireworks on it.

Beds

That headboard has a secret. You can turn it on and it lights up and plays music! MAGICAL.

It lights up AND plays music

And how magical are these throw pillows! (Don’t worry, you get PLENTY of regular pillows to choose from for your sleeping arrangements.)

A dream is a wish your heart makes

Did we mention the carpet is done up with a fireworks theme, too? PLUS there are hidden Mickeys on it!

Carpet detail

The table between the beds holds a light, phone, pen, brochure with hotel information, remote, and clock.

Each bed has its own reading light.

If you want to read

Opposite that, you’ll find a desk and chair with a mirror and lamp.

Desk

It has an empty drawer if you need to store stuff there.

More space for your stuff

A lamp sits beside that, as well as the TV and dresser.

The TV

This is also where you’ll find a mini refrigerator.

Another trashcan sits to the right of the dresser.

There’s a chair with a lamp in the corner of the room.

This would be a good spot to read

Then there’s the window…

…that has some fun curtains!
