With Valentine’s Day falling on a Tuesday this year, many of us are pushing that special date night over to the following weekend, and as usual, I am daydreaming about a Disney Parks date. There is so much to see and do throughout the Walt Disney World Resort, though not everything is best suited to a romantic date with your special someone. It got me thinking about what the perfect timeline would look like if we could visit the parks for a date night and how I would line up activities to suit.
Surprisingly, my imaginary plans would not include my signature rope drop start – it took me a minute to even consider what this would feel like! – but would be set in the most romantic park of all, Magic Kingdom. Once inside, say, mid-morning (it hurts even to type that!), I would be armed with Lightning Lanes and Memory Maker, splurging on just a couple of our favorite attractions while focusing on getting a few of those magical photos together that we never seem to have when the kids are around. Think of it as a private photo shoot with a couple of rides scattered in between. After that, it’s time for dinner, nothing fancy, maybe a few different snacks to share sitting on the grass, followed, of course, by fireworks. Ahhh… sounds like bliss to me. Casual but special; I’m ready to go!
Let me know what your perfect Disney date looks like!
