Have you kept up with all the recent Disney World CHANGES?
A character meet-and-greet attraction finally reopened recently, and Disney just announced when a long-closed restaurant will finally open its doors as well. There’s a lot going on in every Disney World park, so come with us to Magic Kingdom to check out a few recent updates!
Magic Kingdom Attraction Updates
Enchanted Tales with Belle
This character meet-and-greet attraction finally reopened in Fantasyland! Guests can head inside to meet Belle and help her tell the story of Beauty and the Beast.
Enchanted Tales with Belle does have a Lightning Lane, so if you want to skip the line, you can purchase Disney Genie+ and book a Lightning Lane return time.

Magic Kingdom Construction Updates
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
We’re keeping an eye on the construction happening at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, which was previously Splash Mountain.
We heard lots of tinkering in the queue building during our last visit, although we weren’t able to see inside to check out what the Cast Members were working on.
The new ride will reopen in late 2024, so there’s still quite a while before we’ll be able to check out this attraction.

TRON Lightcycle / Run
A new stand has been constructed just outside the entrance of TRON Lightcycle / Run in Tomorrowland. It looks like it might be a snack stand, but we can’t be sure!
Cast Members have continued to work on the stand as Cast Member previews of the coaster come to an end and Disney prepares for Annual Passholder and DVC Member previews.
Check out 5 huge problems exposed by Disney’s TRON coaster previews.
Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe
We have GREAT news from this Tomorrowland quick service restaurant — Sonny Eclipse is BACK at Cosmic Ray’s!
The alien animatronic has been missing for a while now (as the stage was used for dance parties at the after hours events over the holidays), but we’re happy to report that Sonny is back to playing the smooth space jazz for those who stop by to eat here.
