Let’s head back into EPCOT, shall we?
This park has a LOT going on right now — lots of construction is going on, the Festival of the Arts has ended, and the Flower and Garden Festival is right around the corner. Come with us to take a look at what’s new in EPCOT from this past week!
EPCOT Construction Updates
Progress continues to be made on multiple EPCOT projects, like the building we expect will become part of Communicore Hall! We noticed there’s a new metal siding on the building, which is a great step forward.
The sign is also up (again) over at the Refreshment Station. This sign appeared previously but was later mysteriously removed. Now it’s back, so we’ll keep an eye on that!
Over at Journey of Water: Inspired by Moana, we’re continuing to see progress made as well. Many of the changes are quite small right now, but it’s continuing to come together!
As always, we’re keeping a close eye on all the construction.

EPCOT Food Updates
This past week we also got to try the Valentine’s Day Chocolate Liege Waffle for $4.19! It was only available for a very limited amount of time — it’s important to keep an eye out for those seasonal snacks when in the parks!
We enjoyed this treat, and you can read our full review below!

EPCOT Merchandise Updates
Creations Shop
We spotted a LOT of Harmonious merchandise in here lately, like the Harmonious Phone Case for $34.99…
…Harmonious Headphone Cases for $19.99 each…
…and two different Harmonious Magnets for $14.99 each.
We think both of them could be fun souvenirs to pick up before Harmonious disappears from the park.
We also spotted a Harmonious Ornament for $19.99.
NuiMOs fans may not be able to resist the NuiMOs Spider-Man Backpack for $21.99.
You can also celebrate the new Ant-Man and the Wasp film with the Quantum Core Bluetooth Speaker and Game for $69.99!
We also found a Guardians of the Galaxy Watchband for $36.99.
The last item we found was the Sensory Friendly Mickey and Donald Youth Shirt for $24.99.
And that’s the fun merchandise we saw this week — let’s move on to some more updates.
EPCOT General Updates
Akoya Pearls reopened for the first time in 3 years over in the Japan Pavilion, which we think many fans will be SO happy about.
If you’ve been hoping to get your own unique pearl, now you can! See our full post about the returning experience here.
We also have spotted lots of Flower and Garden Festival topiaries popping up all over the park to get ready for the Festival’s start in March.
And that’s all the news from EPCOT for now! As always, stay tuned to DFB for all the latest news.
