Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration brought us lots of magic — and we’re so sad for the celebration to end on March 31st, 2023.
This magical celebration brought us merchandise, new shows and entertainment, and our favorite thing: FOOD! For the last two and a half years, we have spent time in the parks trying all of the 50th Anniversary Celebration snacks. We have tasted them all — the sweet and salty, the big and small, and we definitely found our favorites!
While it makes sense that Disney would retire these snacks at the end of the 50th Celebration, we’re just not ready to let some of these snacks go! If you find yourself at Disney World before March 31st, make sure to try these snacks before they go!
These are the six 50th Anniversary Celebration snacks that we just can’t imagine not being able to grab anymore! Disney, we might protest if you discontinue them! Okay, not actually, but we’ll be a little upset.
Tropical Serenade
We won’t make you scroll to the end for the best one. This is probably our favorite 50th Anniversary snack at Disney World. The Tropical Serenade from Aloha Isle in Magic Kingdom is $6.99 and is the most heavenly combination of POG juice (pineapple, orange, and guava juice) and coconut soft-serve ice cream. The best part is that it’s topped with a pineapple upside-down cake pop. Come on, that’s like two desserts in one! Steal of a deal.
50th Celebration Spring Rolls
If you have visited Disney World in the past few years, you might have caught word of the legendary Cheeseburger Spring Rolls from the Spring Roll Cart in Magic Kingdom. Similar to those, the 50th Celebration Spring Rolls are delicious, and filled with Pastrami and Pepper Jack Cheese, and served with a Mustard Dipping Sauce. You can grab these for $9.50 and can even mix and match with a Cheeseburger Spring Roll so that you can try both!
50th Celebration Ice Cream Sandwich
This next snack takes us to Dino-Bites Snacks in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The 50th Celebration Ice Cream Sandwich consists of a scoop of vanilla ice cream smooshed between two house-made double chocolate chip cookies, all topped with glittery sprinkles and a 50th Anniversary medallion. You can grab this one for $6.99!
Snow White Cone
We are back to Magic Kingdom for this one! The Snow White Cone can be found at Storybook Treats and consists of a giant swirl of lemon DOLE Whip in a blue cone. It’s topped with an adorable chocolate bird and a sugar bow! This one is $6.49 and so delicious.
Happy Haunts Milkshake
Foolish Mortals, your time has come…
To try one of our favorite desserts in Magic Kingdom! The Happy Haunts Milkshake can be found at Columbia Harbour House (across from The Haunted Mansion) for $7.99. This blackberry milkshake is topped with a purple chocolate-glazed donut that is covered in black sprinkles! We’d die for this milkshake. Okay, enough Haunted Mansion jokes. (Look at those straws! The Mansion wallpaper!)
Royal 50th Churro
That brings us to our last snack: The Royal 50th Churro! You can grab this delicious treat from the Frontierland Churro Cart for $7. These delicious churros are rolled in strawberry sugar, drizzled with marshmallow cream, and topped with shimmer sprinkles. They also come with chocolate dipping sauce!
While we’re hoping that Disney will keep some version of these snacks on deck after March 31st, we’re mentally preparing ourselves to say goodbye, just in case! We’re super excited to see which Disney100 snacks will arrive at Disney World and whether or not they’ll be the same as the ones in Disneyland!
