Ariel Dooney & Bourke Bag Collection Now Available at Walt Disney World

“Look at this stuff. Isn’t it neat?” Among the many treasures found in her secret cave, the Little Mermaid (or you) may want to add these Ariel Dooney & Bourke Bags to your collection. They arrived this morning at Walt Disney World.

We found the satchel bag, tote bag, and wristlet wallet, at Uptown Jewelers on Main Street, U.S.A., in the Magic Kingdom.

Ariel Dooney & Bourke Satchel Bag – $178.00

This satchel bag has Ariel in various poses under the deep blue sea, accompanied by her friends Flounder and Sebastian.

The colorful images, set against a background of sea plants, flowers, and various design images, are screen art on simulated leather. The top of the bag has a ”Dooney & Bourke” embossed metal label on the front and is set against a beige-colored leather square with matching stitching.

The bag features a design that fully wraps around it and includes khaki-colored tabs with matching stitching and metal hardware on both sides at the top. It has metal rings on either side, allowing it to be converted into an over-the-shoulder bag, and comes with a coordinating leather strap that can be found inside.

The pattern continues on the back. The zip closure comes with a braided leather zip pull and two strap carrying handles.

The inside of the bag is fully lined in red fabric and comes with an inside zip pocket, also with a beige leather pull tab.

Ariel Dooney & Bourke Tote Bag – $328.00

The Dooney & Bourke tote bag features an image of Ariel prominently featured on the front, with Flounder and Sebastian opposite her.

Flounder and Sebastian are swimming around a background of sea plants, flowers, and various tropical images.

On the opposite side of the bag is another image of Ariel. This artwork shows Ariel in a three-quarter profile with her long, red hair floating across the front of the tote bag.

Towards the front, lower center of the bag is the ”Dooney & Bourke” embossed metal logo plate set against a beige leather square.

The bag’s sides display undersea plants and flowers against a backdrop of multi-toned blue.

The back of the tote bag has the same image as found on the front.

The bag features a magnetic button closure for security and is equipped with two-toned beige leather handles adorned with tan stitching, which are affixed to the bag using gold-toned hardware and buttoned studs.

Ariel Dooney & Bourke Wristlet Wallet – $168.00

The wristlet wallet showcases Ariel and her companions Sebastian and Flounder in various undersea poses, much like the satchel bag.

This design, silk-screened onto imitation leather, is dominated by vivid depictions of Ariel as she sits and dreams, explores the sea, and floats around. The cream-colored detachable leather wrist strap has a lobster claw clasp.

As with all Dooney & Bourke bags, the ”Dooney & Bourke 1975” embossed metal label is found on the front.

Aside from some detailed stitching, the back of the wristlet wallet features the same design as the front.

The fully lined interior has a zip closure with a leather pull, interior zip compartment, two billfold compartments, an accordion fold interior, and goldtone hardware.

Walt Disney Studios has been teasing the live-action version of “The Little Mermaid” for several months now, and last night, March 12, during the broadcast of the 95th Oscars, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel on ABC from the Dolby Theater, tonight, viewers got a look at the official trailer.

“The Little Mermaid” will hit theatres on May 26, 2023.
