During their SXSW presentation, Disney Parks shared a look at a new type of dynamic robot that could be used for future meet and greets with small characters.
The robot was introduced after a demonstration of the larger-than-life Hulk character created thanks to Project Exo.
The robot will be able to “fall down, get back up and even do a somersault!” Just a few feet tall, and with bunny ears, it looks like the robot could eventually be used for a Judy Hopps appearance.
TechCrunch’s Panzer shared a video of the robot in action as it roller-skated around the stage. It was developed by Imagineers Tony Dohi and Morgan Pope, who also made the Spider-Man “stuntronic” used at Avengers Campus.
