The reopening of Typhoon Lagoon has been delayed until March 20. It was originally set to open on March 19, but due to inclement weather forecasts, Disney has pushed the reopening back by one day.
Sunday, March 19, is forecast to have a high of 60°F, according to The Weather Channel. The local Central Florida water parks usually do not operate unless the temperatures are 70°F or higher.
As of now, operating hours of 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. are posted for Monday, March 20. However, the current forecast shows a high of 67°F, so the park may have to delay reopening again.
Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park will be closed for refurbishment, beginning Sunday, March 19.
