Magic Kingdom
- Work continues on Splash Mountain, where more signage has been removed and a tent installed around part of the construction.
- Imagineers reportedly “took note” of positive fan reaction to the blue sky ideas presented at D23 Expo, particularly the Villains-themed area.
- Scaffolding has been removed from the Space Mountain spires at the Magic Kingdom as exterior refurbishment continues.
EPCOT
- The final Figment animatronic on Journey into Imagination with Figment has finally been fixed after more than a month and a half of downtime!
- Planters have gone up around the Nejjarine Fountain replica in the Morocco Pavilion.
Disney Springs
- A new Corkcicle shop is opening soon at Disney Springs.
New Merchandise
- We found new Orange Bird Munchlings plushes when we visited EPCOT.
- Pop on in to Uptown Jewelers where you can find a new retro Fantasyland-inspired dress from The Dress Shop.
Other Walt Disney World Resort News
- Walt Disney World Cast Members took to the streets to “rally for a raise” following Disney’s continued refusal to negotiate over increased pay.
- During the rally, STCU President Matt Hollis announced the union is heading back to the table with Disney next week!
Disneyland Resort
- Tenaya Stone Spa is expanding its offerings, including a new sunrise yoga experience within Disneyland Park.
- The Pacific Wharf bridge has reopened as its transformation into the San Fransokyo Gate Bridge continues.
- And just across the park, Mickey’s PhilharMagic reopened with a new HVAC system and fresh seating.
- Cash rates have been revealed for The Villas at Disneyland Hotel, and bookings are now open for Disney Vacation Club members!
Disneyland Paris
- Bob Iger was welcomed to Disneyland Paris on the 21st Anniversary of Walt Disney Studios Park, where he toured the resort with Josh D’Amaro.
Entertainment & Media
- Disney Speedstorm, the new racing game, is speeding on to Early Access across many platforms next month.
