Pandora – The World of Avatar
The immersive land is themed after the alien world of Pandora and is a collaboration between Walt Disney Imagineering and the creators of the Avatar film franchise, James Cameron and Lightstorm Entertainment. It features themed rockwork, ambient sound, food and beverages, and multiple attractions.
Details on the upcoming Avatar land and experience in Disneyland remain a secret, but executives promise it to be as immersive as what is currently found at Walt Disney World Resort. “If you’ve had a chance to experience Pandora – The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, you have a pretty good idea of what Imagineers are capable of,” said Disney CEO Bob Iger when announcing the expansion on February 8.
The new land is expected to be a major draw for guests at Disneyland Resort, offering a completely immersive experience that transports visitors to a new world. It promises to be a unique addition to the park, providing an exciting new adventure for Disney fans and “Avatar” enthusiasts.
Will you be picking up either of these art pieces? What other Avatar artwork would you like to see in the future? We’d love to hear about your artistic inspiration in the comments below!
