Disney has partnered with The Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida and donated $100,000 to the renovation of its youth center, which had its grand reopening on Friday.
The $100,000 grant helped both expand and transform the youth space with new furniture, technology, and murals. Disney has partnered with The Coalition of the Homeless for the last 20 years.
Natasha Yeung, the youth program coordinator at the Coalition for the Homeless, spoke about the support they receive from Disney.
“The youth overcome their fears, doubts, and insecurities, allowing them to live with purpose, passion and hopefully ending generational homelessness,” she said. “Disney’s continued support helps make these goals a reality; our program would not be what it is without them.”
