The Eggstravaganza Easter Egg Hunt has reimagined Disney characters as Easter Eggs and scattered them throughout the Disneyland Resort! We’ve already covered every hidden egg at Disneyland Park, so let’s see if we can spot each of the character eggs at Disney California Adventure.

The 2023 Eggstravaganza is happening across Disneyland Resort from March 13 through April 9, 2023. Guests can pick up their game boards and stickers for $9.99 and have fun searching high and low for Disney characters in Easter egg form.

As each “egg” character is spotted, the sticker of that character can be placed in the corresponding location on the game board. Whether or not you decide to complete the Eggstravaganza, each game board can be returned for one of six collectible character keepsake eggs.

This year’s lineup of character eggs at Disney California Adventure features Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Mater, Lightning McQueen, Chip ‘n Dale, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, Pluto, Thumper, and the White Rabbit. Let’s get our egg hunt on!

Donald Duck – Gone Hollywood

Donald Duck is high above the counter inside the Gone Hollywood shop on Buena Vista Street.

The White Rabbit – Argyle Building

While the White Rabbit’s location is listed as the Argyle Building on this year’s game board, we found the White Rabbit from “Alice in Wonderland” a little bit closer to Donald than we expected. A closer look at the top balcony above Schmoozies! and we can add another sticker to our Eggstravaganza map.

Thumper – Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop

In such a crowded locale, it might be hard to spot Thumper at first glance. We caught this hidden egg above the Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop.

Mater – Fillmore’s Taste-In

Mater is hidden in plain site near Fillmore’s Taste-In! It’s no surprise we found the beloved “Cars” character egg inside Cars Land.

Lightning McQueen – Sarge’s Surplus Hut

Lightning McQueen can be found just next door at Sarge’s Surplus Hut.

Goofy – Goofy’s Sky School

In another fitting placement, Goofy’s Sky School is the hidden egg location for none other than Goofy, himself.

Daisy – Midway Mania

The Daisy Duck egg is in a less suspecting hiding place, but when the lights of the Midway Mania marquee light up it should get much easier!

Pluto – Poultry Palace

Easy there, Zurg! Our favorite dog, Pluto, is hanging out on top of the Poultry Palace apple juice box.

Chip – Grizzly Peak Station Wagon

We are obsessed with the location of the hidden Chip Eggstravaganza egg. Chip is loaded up in the backseat of the Grizzly Peak Station Wagon, teddy bear in tow.

Dale – Grizzly Peak Park Ranger Truck

Also apparently hitting the road, Dale is propped up in the back of the Grizzly Peak Park Ranger Truck. This part of Disney California Adventure was closed to guests during our visit, but guests should be able to get an up-close-and-personal look now.

Mickey Mouse – Chamber of Commerce

Mickey Mouse is keeping an eye on things near the Chamber of Commerce, on the balcony just across the walkway from the antique car.

Minnie Mouse – Food & Wine Festival Marketplace

This last Eggstravaganza find could come with a rewarding snack! We found Minnie Mouse back in the alcove behind the Berry Patch food marketplace. Check out some of the sweet desserts that could also be found here, as part of the 2023 Food & Wine Festival at Disney California Adventure.

It looks like our 2023 Eggstravaganza game board for Disney California Adventure is complete! We’ve found all of our favorite characters and matched their stickers with their new hidden locations.

Now it’s time for the hardest part of the challenge. Which 2023 Eggstravaganza prized character egg would you choose? Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, Chip N’ Dale are all available choices. Guests can also purchase six gameboards to earn the whole collection of 2023 Eggstravaganza Character Keepsake Eggs.

Special prize eggs are available this year, as well! For $14.99, guests can choose to pick up young Simba, Timon, and Pumbaa as part of the 2023 Eggstravaganza happening now across the Disneyland Resort.
