It’s spring break season and there is a lot happening at Disney World!
The EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival is in full swing, there are new treats to try, the 50th anniversary is ending soon, and TRON Lightcycle / Run is opening in less than a month! So with all of this excitement and the spring break crowds heading to the parks, what do the wait times look like right now?
Even though the wait times are not too bad across Disney World, there are some times when you still could benefit from purchasing Genie+.
Genie+ is Disney’s skip-the-line system that allows you to book a time to use the Lightning Lane for an expedited wait time. This can be a huge time-saver in parks like Hollywood Studios where most rides have long wait times throughout the day. The price of Genie+ depends on the day since Disney introduced flexible pricing earlier this year, however, we’ve seen the price fluctuate between $15 and $29 per person per day.
Without further ado, let’s look at those wait times!
Magic Kingdom
Starting over in Magic Kingdom, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train had the longest average wait time with 66 minutes. Last week the average wait time was 68 minutes, so the time stayed pretty steady since then.
Next, Peter Pan’s Flight averaged 59 minutes, Jungle Cruise averaged 45 minutes, and Space Mountain averaged 39 minutes. After that, average wait times had Haunted Mansion at 37 minutes, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Pirates of the Caribbean at 28 minutes, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh at 27 minutes, and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin and Astro Orbiter at 26 minutes.
After that, Enchanted Tales with Belle averaged 22 minutes, “it’s a small world” averaged 20 minutes, Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid averaged 18 minutes, Magic Carpets of Aladdin averaged 16 minutes, The Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini averaged 15 minutes, and Dumbo the Flying Elephant and Mickey’s PhilharMagic averaged 14 minutes.
Next, Tomorrowland Speedway and Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover averaged 12 minutes, Mad Tea Party averaged 9 minutes, and Prince Charming Regal Carrousel averaged 11 minutes. The Enchanted Tiki Room, Carousel of Progress, the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse, and the Liberty Square Riverboat all averaged 5 minutes.
The Hall of Presidents, Country Bear Jamboree, and Tom Sawyer Island averaged no wait.

Heading over to EPCOT, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is back in the top spot and has the longest average wait time in the park with 67 minutes — this is a slight increase compared to last week’s average of 61 minutes. Frozen Ever After is right behind with an average wait time of 62 minutes.
Next up is Test Track at 51 minutes, Soarin’ at 32 minutes, Mission: SPACE at 18 minutes, Turtle Talk with Crush at 13 minutes, and Spaceship Earth at 11 minutes.
Then, there is the Gran Fiesta Tour and The Seas with Nemo and Friends at 9 minutes, and Living with the Land and Journey into Imagination at 7 minutes.
Awesome Planet, Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival, Impressions de France, and Reflections of China had no wait times this week.

Hollywood Studios
Now it’s time to talk about Hollywood Studios where Rise of the Resistance took the top spot for the highest wait time in the park with 71 minutes. Just last week, the average wait time was 80 minutes, so this is a pretty good decrease! Slinky Dog Dash is the second-highest average wait time with 69 minutes this week.
Other wait times in the park include Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at 48 minutes, Toy Story Mania at 45 minutes, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at 44 minutes, and Tower of Terror at 42 minutes.
After that, Alien Swirling Saucers averaged 26 minutes, Walt Disney Presents averaged 17 minutes, Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy averaged 12 minutes, Star Tours – The Adventures Continue averaged 11 minutes, and Muppet*Vision 3D averaged 10 minutes.

Animal Kingdom
And last but not least, let’s talk about Animal Kingdom! Avatar Flight of Passage had the longest average wait time this park this week with 67 minutes. This means the time went down significantly from last week’s 79-minute average.
Following that, Na’vi River Journey at 50 minutes, Kilimanjaro Safaris at 36 minutes, Expedition Everest at 20 minutes, and DINOSAUR at 15 minutes.
It’s Tough to Be a Bug averaged 10 minutes and Triceratop Spin averaged 8 minutes. Both The Boneyard and Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail averaged no wait time. Kali River Rapids closed for refurbishment on January 9th.

Despite this being one of the typical busy seasons at Disney World, wait times actually dropped at most of the major rides this week! Genie+ may still be a good idea (because although they haven’t increased, they aren’t exactly SHORT wait times), but that is up to you and your group’s needs. If you want to get on a bunch of rides, you’ll probably want to budget for the skip-the-line service.
