Something that sets Disney World apart from other theme parks is just how immersive their experiences can be, and many guests love to further that experience with themed merchandise.

In April, TRON Lightcycle / Run will officially open in Magic Kingdom. This coaster will take guests on a lightcycle race through the Grid, and guests will be able to treat themselves to some pretty amazing items inspired by the ride soon!

We have the first images released of the all-new TRON merchandise! There’s a little something for everyone, whether you’re hoping to snag a cool collectible or looking to dress up like a real lightcycle racer. There will be three different collections of items: the first will focus on the attraction itself, another is themed around the original TRON film, and the last is inspired by its sequel, TRON: Legacy.

If you’re a fan of the original film and love a bit of 1980s nostalgia, the “Back to the Arcade” line is for you! It includes pieces that feature elements from classic arcade games, like this illuminated wall sign and arcade game console bag!

Do you miss the collectible movie toys from your childhood? You can relive that experience with these TRON toys, complete with retro packaging.

For Disney fashionistas, there are tons of apparel items to choose from. Several of the pieces are bright and colorful like the light-up canopy from the ride.

Another line of apparel is inspired by racing uniforms and comes in sizes for the whole family.

If you really want to immerse yourself in the world of TRON, check out this jacket and helmet combo! These pieces are inspired by Sam Flynn’s costume in TRON: Legacy and are the perfect way to prepare for your first venture onto the Grid.

Disney has worked hard to inject the futuristic world of TRON into this line, and this is best represented by their Life on the Grid line. These items are all inspired by TRON’s clean lines and digital aesthetic and even have some cool tech built in! This backpack will hold an all-new interactive Identity Disc collectible, and the Identity Disc will also work as an audio speaker.

Probably the most exciting announcement is the TRON Identity Program. This retail experience will allow guests to program an action figure and identity chip. Your identity chip can then be used to re-program other merchandise, like your Identity Disc and remote control lightcycles. The new shopping experience will be available at the Tomorrowland Launch Depot gift shop (which was formerly called Tomorrowland Light & Power Co.) located in between TRON Lightcycle / Run and Space Mountain. Reservations are required for this experience and will open on March 21st (visit this page to make your reservations).
