The new Disney Treasure cruise ship has reached a new milestone as the Voyager Minnie keel coin has been laid.

Keel laying is typically used to mark the official start of construction on a ship. Work has already begun on the Disney Treasure, but the laying still marks an important step in the process.

In this ceremony, a newly-minted coin is placed under a ship’s keel for good fortune. A new version of Captain Minnie, dubbed Voyager Minnie, is on the Treasure’s coin.

Captain Minnie is also on the keel coin for the Disney Wish.

The coin features Captain Minnie’s new adventure-themed outfit that she will be wearing exclusively on the Disney Treasure, as pictured below.
