The short answer is: Yes, especially during the summer.
Let’s break down the longer answer, shall we? DOLE Whip is a magical tasty treat that will brighten anyone’s day. Now I have a very long, complicated history with the iconic snack. I avoided this cold refreshing tart food item for the longest time because I was too busy enjoying the Mickey Premium Bar.
There’s nothing wrong with Mickey Shaped ice cream, but when I found out I could no longer eat dairy, I knew I needed to find a new snack I could enjoy during the summer. This meant it was time for me to finally try DOLE Whip.
On National DOLE Whip day, I invited my dear friend Panda to join me at Aloha Isle in Adventureland at the Magic Kingdom. That day was when I tried the fan-favorite treat for the first time, and of course, we got it on video.
I have now had DOLE Whip several times, and I can say it’s my new favorite cold snack at Walt Disney World. It is incredible how many different treats they can make using this pineapple soft serve. At Aloha Isle Refreshments, guests can order anything from a standard DOLE Whip soft-serve to a Pineapple Upside-down cake topped with DOLE Whip.
Now that I have a newfound love for this treat, I think it should be on your must-do list. It’s a perfect snack for before or after the Enchanted Tiki Room, especially since Aloha Isle is next to the attraction. For all of our plant-based friends or those of you allergic to dairy, the safe option is the DOLE Whip float and the DOLE Whip Pineapple soft-serve. If you don’t have any dietary restrictions, I suggest trying one of the themed floats or the upside-down cake. Is DOLE Whip on your must-do list? Let us know!
