After a few months of being closed, Typhoon Lagoon is finally open again!
Just in time for the spring and summer, this Disney World water park is welcoming guests back into the pirate shipwreck. Not only can you look forward to their thrilling slides and relaxing amenities, but Typhoon Lagoon is also treating us to some all-new eats!
The first treat on our list is the Hei Hei cone (this one is returning, and it’s one of our favorite treats!). This treat is up for grabs at Snack Shack. It is made up of Dole Whip Pineapple and Raspberry Soft Serve topped with a sour candy belt and can be yours for $5.99.
This is not the first time we’ve seen the Hei Hei cone at Disney World and it was just as delicious as we remember! The pineapple and the raspberry soft serve complement each other so well. The blue cone is just a traditional sugar cone and the blue added no flavors. Our favorite touch is the sour candy belt on top for Hei Hei’s beak.
Also at Snack Shack was the Moana Cone. This is a Dole Whip Strawberry and Vanilla Soft-serve in a white chocolate coconut-dipped waffle cone. This cone is also $5.99.
We really enjoyed the Moana cone. The strawberry and vanilla swirl is a familiar flavor (no surprise flavors here). The coconut-dipped cone added flavor and texture to the ice cream. We would get this again!
Also at the Snack Shack is a NEW alcoholic drink, the Kungaloosh Cooler.
This drink is made with Dole-Whip Strawberry blended with Captain Morgan Spiced Rum, Myer’s Original Dark Rum, Bols Blackberry Brandy Liqueur, Minute Maid Orange Juice, and a splash of Fanta Strawberry.
This was a hit for us! The alcohol taste was not overly strong, which we enjoyed. It was very sweet and easily shareable which helps make the $15.50 worth it. We would get this again.

Next, we headed over to Mini Donuts by Joffrey’s Coffee to try — well, mini donuts! These donuts were delicious. They were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
You can get the donuts in a 6 or 12-count. There are dipping sauces available in dark chocolate, raspberry, and white chocolate. Each costs $1.59. We loved all 3 sauces and they even mixed well together!
Finally, we headed to Lowtide Lou’s to try two items.
First, we chose the Shrimp Louis Lettuce Wrap. These lettuce wraps were filled with Louie-style Shrimp, Cilantro-Lime Slaw, and Pineapple Salsa. These were served with a side of chips.
For $12.99, you got 3 large lettuce wraps. These wraps were light and refreshing. The cilantro-lime slaw added a nice crunch paired with the lettuce wrap.
We really enjoyed these as well and would be great as a meal or to share as a snack!
Next, we tried the Fish Tacos. These Battered Fish were served in a Flour Tortilla topped with Pineapple Salsa and Cilantro Slaw.
For $9.99, you get 3 tacos. The fish was battered really nicely and added a nice crispy texture to the dish. The pineapple salsa helped add sweetness to the tacos. We did notice the slaw didn’t taste very fresh but it was very flavorful. These are another great option for guests here.

There are also several favorites returning to Typhoon Lagoon! You can get the Typhoon Tilly Sipper for a limited time, which comes with free fountain beverage refills all day.
Overall, these new food options at Typhoon Lagoon were great! We think there is a lot to choose from and we found some new favorites! Next time you visit this water park, we recommend heading to Snack Shack and Lowtide Lou’s.
