Does anyone really wear something other than Spirit Jerseys when they go to Disneyland? Well now you have even more choices to express yourself and your favorite Disney characters when you head down to the parks thanks to three new Spirit Jerseys we found around the Disneyland Resort this week!
Lotso Spirit Jersey Hoodie – $84.99
This all-pink Spirit Jersey features an embroidered Lots-o’-Huggin’ Bear, the antagonist of “Toy Story 3,” on the left-hand breast. Drawstrings extend from the collar to tighten the hood. Lotso is depicted with his mallet cane and a jovial expression.
The bottom half of the jersey is pink with printed strawberry designs all-around.
The back side has “Lotso” written across the upper side with fuzzy lettering. The first “o” is replaced with another embroidered Lotso depiction, this time with raised pink fur like the other letters.
Stitch Tie-Dye Disneyland Resort Spirit Jersey – $79.99
This blue tie-dye Spirit Jersey features dark and light blues alongside streaks of white.
Stitch is printed on a raised pattern wearing a lei and playing the ukelele. Next to him is the traditional Disneyland D with “Est. 1955” below as all Disneyland Resort Spirit Jerseys are.
The back features the same tie dye print.
On the bottom half, we see Stitch relaxing in a beach chair underneath some palm trees. He’s got sunglasses, a lei, and a delicious bowl of ice cream, ready to chill out in the Hawaiian sun.
Atop are the Disneyland Resort letters, printed in puffy dark blue lettering with white shadows underneath to give the letters some extra depth.
“The Lion King” Disneyland Resort Spirit Jersey – $79.99
It’s the circle of life, and it moves us all to this new Spirit Jersey! For the beloved 1994 classic “The Lion King,” guests can pick up this red Spirit Jersey featuring a silhouette of Simba roaring from Pride Rock.
Simba is surrounded by a shining sun broken by clouds as well as the film’s logo below.
On the back side we see a larger sun rising as it does during the film’s iconic opening sequence. We see a lone tree along with silhouettes of Mufasa, Rafiki, young Simba, Timon, Zazu, and Pumbaa strolling proudly across the savanna.
On the back are black puff letters with the Disneyland Resort logo. This jersey is somewhat unique in that it only shows the resort name on the back and has a unique design on the front side, highly unusual for a Spirit Jersey.
All three of these new Spirit Jerseys are now available at the World of Disney Store in the Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort. But you’d better be quick! Every time we see them, they’re going in a flash. Will you add any of these three new Spirit Jerseys to your Disneyland wardrobe? Let us know in the comments section below!

In a recent development, it appears that The Walt Disney Company has outmaneuvered Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and his attempts to punish the company for its socially responsible stance. DeSantis had enlisted the help of his buddies in the Florida Legislature to replace the Reedy Creek Improvement District (RCID) with a new committee. After months of stalled negotiations and a rejection of Disney’s “best offer,” the six cast member unions representing 43,000 full- and part-time workers at Disney World voted to approve a new contract today.
Cinderella Castle
The new agreement makes the minimum wage for Disney World’s current Cast Members $18 per hour by the end of this year, and is retroactive to October 1st, 2022 — the date their previous contract expired.
UNITE HERE Local 737 announced that more than 12,500 Cast Members voted on the contract and approximately 97% voted to approve it, according to Scott Gustin.
We are voting YES!
Thousands of Union Cast Members are voting across property today
Jeff Vahle, President of Walt Disney World, released a statement about the vote: “Our Cast Members have always been at the heart of the Walt Disney World experience, and we are thrilled that, with the support of the union, they have overwhelmingly approved this new five-year agreement that significantly increases wages, alongside our leading benefits program that includes affordable medical coverage and more. Frontline employees also have access to 100 percent paid tuition for higher education through the Disney Aspire program.”
According to Disney, the contract provides for:
Minimum of $17 an hour for new and existing cast members upon ratification
Minimum of $18 an hour by year end for current cast
Annual pay increases every year of the contract
Full retroactive increased pay of least $2 more an hour, dated back to October 2022 for all current cast members
Entry level rates for newly hired cast will reach a minimum of $18 an hour by 2024
When the proposed contract was announced last week, Mel Paradiso, a 3rd shift custodial worker at Animal Kingdom, said the $4 per hour raise she will receive in the first year of the contract will be “life-changing” for her family. “We live in a one-bedroom apartment, maybe we will be able to make it two since we have a little one.”
Unite Here Local 362 announces a new contract proposal for Disney World Cast Members.
“Disney is proud to offer an industry-leading employment package that includes comprehensive benefits and affordable medical coverage,” Vahle said in a statement last week after the proposed agreement was reached.

If you’re looking to rebuild the Jedi Order, then you can have no more faithful a pal than the lovable BD-1 droid, trusted companion of Cal Kestis from the game “Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.” And now you can bring home a new remote control version of the BD Unit when you visit Disneyland Resort!
Deluxe Remote Control BD Unit – $169.99
The new droid toy is available in a yellow and black color scheme from the Star Wars Trading Post in the Downtown Disney District.
It features one visual sensor and one floodlight on its face. These units are also equipped with scanners, a scomp link, and a holoprojector.
The original BD-1 unit in the game and its upcoming sequel “Jedi: Survivor” is white and red with black sensors. He began his journey assisting Jedi Master Eno Cordova in researching the ancient Zeffo people, a culture long extinct by the time of the Galactic Empire. After having a vision of the Jedi’s extinction, Cordova hid a holocron, which holds data in the Star Wars universe, of every child in the galaxy sensitive to the Force and potentially able to become Jedi. Cordova wipes BD-1’s memories and leaves him behind for the one who will rebuild the order — Jedi Knight Cal Kestis, the game’s protagonist.
Through the game, BD-1 acts as a companion for Kestis, providing him with hints, getting him past obstacles, and giving him “stims” to boost the player’s health.
The back of the box details the droid as well as its remote control, which lights up as it interacts with the droid. The description reads “BD units are designed to be the ideal assistant droid to a researcher or explorer operating alone in the field with its capacity for data collection and ability to traverse all types of terrain.”
We found this at Star Wars Trading Post in the Downtown Disney District, and you can bring it home right now! If the remote control droid isn’t your type, there was also a LEGO Star Wars BD-1 figure released last summer.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
“Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order” released in 2019 to critical success, prompting immediate consideration for a sequel. The original game follows a fallen Padawan named Cal Kestis, whose training was never completed due to the Jedi Purge as depicted in “Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.” While knowledgeable in the Force and with a lightsaber, he was never officially granted the rank of Jedi Knight. Kestis journeys throughout the galaxy to protect a holocron filled with a list of Force-sensitive children from falling into the hands of the Inquisitors and the Empire, both out to destroy the last remnants of the Jedi Order.
“Star Wars Jedi: Survivor” follows protagonist Cal Kestis five years after the events of Fallen Order. Cal must stay one step ahead of the Empire’s constant pursuit as he continues to feel the weight of being one of the last remaining Jedi in the galaxy. With new abilities and a new storyline, the more experienced Jedi is expected to offer a great sequel game experience. “Star Wars Jedi: Survivor”will be available exclusively on current-generation platforms — PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC — starting April . Fans can preorder the game on its official website or through their console’s game shops.
