According to the official release, “the posters are unique on their own, yet part of a visual family. Imagineers utilized a vibrant, but limited color palette while giving the illustrations a hand-drawn quality.”

As part of the broad restructuring announced by Bob Iger earlier in the year, The Walt Disney Company has begun making moves to reduce its workforce and cut costs in an effort to increase profitability. The plan was made public during an earnings call earlier in the year with as many as 7,000 jobs on the line in hopes of turning the company around. More recently, notice was given that roughly 4,000 of those employees would be notified in the coming weeks.
Earlier this week, we saw the dissolution of Disney’s Metaverse Division only a year after it was instated. Now, the news is being reported from multiple sources that Jeffrey R. Epstein, Vice President of Corporate Communications for Disney, has been let go. The official Disney fan club D23 spokesperson is one of many expected to be let go among sweeping lay-offs over the next two weeks.
Epstein had been with The Walt Disney Company for fourteen and a half years and was also the creative force behind the popular Gay Days at Disneyland.

From April 15, guests visiting Tokyo Disneyland will be able to purchase Disney Premier Access to view both “Disney Harmony in Color” and “Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade: DreamLights” from a special viewing area in the park’s hub.
Guests visiting Tokyo Disneyland who purchase Disney Premier Access will have seating in the blue area. Meanwhile those on Tokyo Disney Resort Vacation Packages will continue to sit in the dedicated bench seating, which has been set aside for those guests for years.
The cost for these parades will be ¥2500 ($18.88) per guest, just like at Tokyo DisneySea.
Those who wish to purchase Disney Premier Access can hold both an attraction and show ticket at the same time, but must wait 60 minutes after purchasing their first show ticket to obtain a second. Purchase is only available through the Tokyo Disney Resort App and a credit card is required.
Parades at Tokyo Disneyland
Starting April 15, Tokyo Disneyland is launching a brand-new daytime parade, “Disney Harmony in Color.” Themed to a “harmonious world of colors,” the parade showcases themes of adventure, courage, family bonds and friendship through various stories from Disney and Pixar films. The finale features a magnificent float that will take guests on a journey to a harmonious world of vibrant colors that is filled with dreams. Mickey Mouse and many other well-known Disney friends, including characters from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Zootopia” and Pixar’s “Coco,” will also make an appearance.
The parade replaces the long-running “Dreaming Up,” which debuted with the park’s 35th Anniversary on April 15, 2018 and will come to an end on April 9.
Meanwhile at night, “Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade: DreamLights” takes to the streets. The parade is a 21st century reimagining of the classic “Main Street Electrical Parade” featuring characters both old and new, from the Blue Fairy to Anna and Elsa from “Frozen” and plenty in between. It debuted on June 1, 2001 to great fanfare and has been updated multiple times throughout its life to keep it up-to-date and fresh for both new and returning visitors.
