How Early Can You Make Disney World Dining Reservations?

One of the most important parts of your Disney World vacation (in our opinion, at least) is what you’ll EAT while you’re there! You can find some fantastic food at restaurants around the parks and hotels, at quick service and table service spots alike.

‘Ohana

At all table service restaurants, it’s recommended that you make advanced dining reservations in order to secure your spot. Although some restaurants have walk-up waitlists, a table is not guaranteed with that option. The best way to make sure you get to dine where you want is to make those reservations ASAP! So when should you start reserving tables, and how do you even do it? We’ve got all the answers right here.

When Can You Make Disney World Dining Reservations?

You are able to make a dining reservation at most Disney World restaurants up to 60 days before you plan to eat there.

Dining Room at Cinderella’s Royal Table

If you’re staying at a Disney World Resort hotel, you can make reservations for your entire stay (up to 10 days) 60 days before the FIRST day of your trip. So 60 days before the first day of your stay, you can make reservations for the whole trip, even for days that are more than 60 days out.

Dining room at Topolino’s Terrace

That rule does not apply if you’re staying off-property. In that case, you can make reservations 60 days in advance of each meal.

50’s Prime Time Cafe

We recommend making those reservations ASAP, as availability for the most popular Disney World restaurants can fill up within minutes. If you want to dine at places like Cinderella’s Royal Table, ‘Ohana, Be Our Guest, and California Grill, you’ll need to be ready right when reservations become available.

How Do You Make Disney World Dining Reservations?

To reserve by phone, call 407-WDW-DINE (3463), answer a few voice-activated questions, and you’ll be transferred to a dining agent who will book your meals for you. The phone line opens at 7AM EST each day.

Tiffins

However, we’d recommend booking online, since reservations open earlier there! Reservations open online at 6AM EST, but you should start trying to book at 5:45AM, as some open a little bit early. You’ll use the Disney World Website to get those reservations. Just enter your search specifics in the Disney search box, or use the Check Availability tool on any individual Table Service restaurant’s page.

From here, you will enter your party size for the date and mealtime you are interested in.

Then you can select the time you prefer or search for others. Note that you may search by general Mealtime (Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner) or by blocks of hours for more specificity.

Additionally, dining reservations can be made by replicating the steps above on the My Disney Experience app on your smart device.

Be advised that Disney World currently requires that guests have a Park Pass Reservation in order to enter any of the theme parks. So, to dine at a Table Service restaurant inside one of the four Disney World theme parks you will need: (1) valid park admission (a ticket or an Annual Pass), (2) a required Park Pass reservation, AND (3) a dining reservation. Disney states that “Dining reservations do not guarantee admission to the park.”

The ONLY Time We’re Happy To See Bees on Our Snack in Disney World

Disney’s Animal Kingdom has just debuted a brand-new springtime treat!

Animal Kingdom

We’ve seen some great seasonal treats lately like the Bunny Butts, Caramel-coated Candy Apples, and the whole selection of spring treats at the Grand Cottage at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort. Come with us to see how this new bee-themed treat measures up!

Creature Comforts (aka, the resident Starbucks location) in Disney’s Animal Kingdom just debuted this adorable mousse treat in honor of Earth Day, which will be on April 22nd (that’s also Animal Kingdom’s anniversary!). While Creature Comforts is usually a popular “go-to” stop for coffee, not everyone knows that it can be the “sweet” spot to find the latest Disney park treats. For those that may not be familiar, you can find Creature Comforts between Discovery Island and Africa.

Creature Comforts

Check out the Beehive Mousse Dome! We grabbed this cutie for $6.29.

Beehive Mousse

At first glance, this new treat is almost too cute to eat. The beehive is made of a honey mousse on top of a brownie base with sugar bees and white chocolate honeycomb decorations. The mousse is also coated in crunchy edible pearls.

We know it’s adorable, but how did it taste? We loved it! The brownie base is thick and not overly sweet. The mousse has a light honey flavor but not overpowering. We were expecting a bit more flavor there, but it mostly just tastes like sugar.

Beehive Mousse Dome

We also liked the texture of the honey bees and crunchy pearls for the added pop and thought it helped break up the smoothness of the mousse.

Grab one at Creature Comforts

We quickly found its design flaws though! This treat’s honey mousse will dye your hands and mouth yellow from its coloring. There’s also a lot of mousse compared in ratio to the brownie base so you may have a hard time eating all the mousse with brownie bites.

Cute!

Here’s a look at it from the inside!

Overall we felt it was a great choice to showcase just in time for the new spring season and really enjoyed it. If you’re not a fan of honey flavoring, mousse texture, or brownies this might be a treat you want to pass on for now.

REVIEW: Animal Kingdom Celebrates 25th Anniversary with Fruity Pebbles-Topped Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail Sundae

Celebrate Earth Day and 25 years of Disney’s Animal Kingdom with a series of special treats. At Tamu Tamu Refreshments is the Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail Sundae, now available through April 30.

gorilla falls trail sundae 4883

The treat is named after the park’s Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail attraction. The treat’s name is so long, it doesn’t fit on the Tamu Tamu signs.

Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail Sundae – $6.79

Brownie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce, and trail crunch mix topped with a white chocolate image of Kejana

gorilla falls trail sundae 4893

This is a simple yet satisfying sundae. The artificial fruit flavors of the Fruity Pebbles pair perfectly with the cold vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce.

The granola pieces mixed in works well too.

gorilla falls trail sundae 4908

The brownie is the weakest part since the outer edges were hard but the middle was soft and moist. It had a rich chocolate flavor.

Despite the weak brownie, we would still recommend this treat.

Check out the Elephant Cupcake and Viva Gaia Tonic, too.

The Elephant Cupcake is also available at Restaurantosaurus. Both items will be available through April 30.

Graham Cracker Cupcake with Pineapple Filling and a jungle of Matcha Buttercream, Crispy Pearls, and a stunning White Chocolate Elephant

elephant cupcake earth day 2023 4922

Matcha, Graham cracker, pineapple, and chocolate sounds like a list of our favorite things, and they make for a perfect ingredient list. We recall a time when Walt Disney World released many new cupcakes a week and few were good. It’s made us wary of new cupcakes, but this one will help us recover.

elephant cupcake earth day 2023 4923

It’s as creative as it is stunning, with a beautiful golden elephant on top. This is actually milk chocolate instead of white chocolate and the quality of the confection is stellar.

elephant cupcake earth day 2023 4944

The matcha buttercream comes in an overwhelming portion, so bite carefully. When you do, the mix with the creamy pineapple filling and graham cracker-infused cake is worth remembering.

elephant cupcake earth day 2023 4951

The cake is soft and moist, the pineapple brings a pronounced tropical flavor, and the matcha flavor comes in on the backend. We don’t say this about many Disney Parks cupcakes, but we would have this again.

Viva Gaia Tonic with Gin – $14.50

Bombay Sapphire Gin, Minute Maid® Zero Sugar Lemonade, Sprite®, flavors of Cotton Candy, and Mint Leaves

viva gaia tonic earth day 2023 4930

This shares a name with the Viva Gaia street band that regularly performs on Discovery Island. A non-alcoholic version is available for $4.49 without a glow cube or $7.49 with a glow cube.

viva gaia tonic earth day 2023 4932

It sounds like there’s a lot going on in this drink, but it ends up being a simple, refreshing taste. Gin’s natural (and sometimes polarizing) flavors play a perfect complementary role.

viva gaia tonic earth day 2023 4938

Yes, it’s sweet, but the individual flavors are subtle, though easily identifiable. The exception is if you happen to get a mint leaf, which overpowers the rest of the drink easily.
