Originally making its debut in October of 2021, the third season of Big City Greens has taken us from Big City to the rural town of Smalton, AKA “The Country” where the Greens had come from. We’ve seen episodes go deep, or keep the fun simple in premise and hilarious in delivery. All the episodes are […]
At Mickey’s Toontown in Disneyland Park, you can have a “perfect picnic” with a souvenir basket and picnic blanket available at Good Boy! Grocers. But if you want a larger and nicer picnic blanket, you can head to EngineEAR Souvenirs. A water game toy inspired by Donald’s Boat is also available in the gift shop, perfect for kids to play with at your picnic.
Picnic Blanket – $59.99
This more padded picnic blanket comes rolled up with a red handle and straps.
It’s 66 in. x 66 in. or 168 cm. x 168 cm.
The blanket has a red and white gingham pattern, with a train track around the edge. Different scenes from Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway are represented with images of Mickey and Minnie.
At the center is a dark rectangle, with Mickey, Minnie, and Pluto in their red car on the center. Chuuby flies next to them, and images of Daisy, Goofy, Donald, and Pete are framed around them. The Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway is below the car, while “Let’s get that runaway train!” is on a banner above.
Donald’s Boat Water Game – $19.99
This game is for kids three and up. It’s a water tank, with a lid and base that resemble Donald’s Boat.
The water tank can be filled up at home.
The pinball-like game has you shooting rings and stars into basketball hoops using buttons to activate bubbles.

Disney will occasionally close rides and attractions in the parks for routine refurbishments, and those closures can last a few months at least. To be prepared for your upcoming vacation, check out everything that’s going to be closed in Disney World next week here!
Magic Kingdom
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
Splash Mountain closed on January 23rd for a long refurbishment. The ride is being re-themed to become Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, with a Princess and the Frog theme.
Disney announced that the Tomorrowland Light & Power Co will be renamed Tomorrowland Launch Depot. The store will open on April 4th along with TRON Lightcycle / Run! Here you can see photos of the new sign completed.
The details
The Tomorrowland Launch Depot will be home to the new interactive experience calledTRON Identity Program. Guests will be able to customize a “Program” action figure that looks and sounds like you and an identity chip that will interact with other merchandise as well! This is similar to the Avatar Maker found in Pandora at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Cool Wash temporarily had a new sign that re-named the spot “Refreshment Station,” but that sign was later removed. However, it looks like the sign is back now! The snack kiosk is still closed and blocked off by several plants. Disney hasn’t announced when Cool Wash (sorry, Refreshment Station) will reopen, but we’ll watch for any changes.
A few pools and a pool bar are currently closed at Saratoga Springs. The High Rock Spring Pool, On the Rocks Pool Bar, and the leisure pool at Treehouse Villas are all going to be closed through late March 2023, so they could reopen sometime this coming week!
Saratoga Springs Pool Closure
Disney notes on the website that the Grandstand Pool, Paddock Pool, and Congress Park Pool all remain open for guests to use during the closures.
We were in Disney’s Hollywood Studios today and spotted a brand new Encanto Loungefly — and it’s dedicated to the most shunned member of the Madrigal family, Bruno. Poor Bruno! It’s a Bruno Loungefly Fanny Pack and it even says “We don’t talk about Bruno” on it (and we bet you’re singing that now, right? #sorrynotsorry).
We DO talk about this bag
Check out this detail, though. It’s got rats along its back, just like in the song. We love when Loungefly bags have that kind of cute attention to detail. “When he calls your name, it all fades to black…”
Rats along his back…
We found this adorable bag at Once Upon A Time in Hollywood Studios for $65. If you’re more of a fanny pack person than a backpack person, this could be the perfect thing to carry your park essentials in (especially if you love Encanto and Bruno!).

Donnie Dunagan, the voice of the titular character in Walt Disney Animation Studios’ 1942 hit classic Bambi, visited the Fab 50 Character Collection at Walt Disney World recently, including the statue of his own character. The Disney Parks Blog shared a look at Dunagan’s recent visit to Walt Disney World. The Fab 50 Character Collection statue of […]
The Dunk or Flunk basketball game has been removed from Springfield, U.S.A.: Home of The Simpsons in Universal Studios Florida.
The game was previously just outside of The Simpsons Ride. Now there are just two blue construction boxes.
This change comes just two months after construction walls were erected around the front of the attraction, which remains open.
But no worries — a different Simpsons-themed basketball game has been installed nearby where the “Sledgehomer” game was formerly located.
Simpsons plush and pillows are available as prizes.
Do you play basketball games during your theme park visits? Let us know in the comments.

A yellow-ish cloud is behind him.
Small Orange Bird Tupperware – $12.99
The smaller container is mostly the same design.
Instead of Orange Bird on the swing, it has an image of Orange Bird sitting on a Mickey-shaped patch of grass with rain and a rainbow above him.

So this is the Donald Duck Chocolate Easter Egg — and even if you didn’t know its name, you can tell EXACTLY who it’s designed to look like. It’s got Donald’s classic outfit plus his little hat! HIS LITTLE HAT, y’all.
DONALD
This egg is also HUMONGOUS. But we had to eat it because it’s also CHOCOLATE. The egg itself is white chocolate, but the details are done in blue and yellow fondant with a red chocolate bow. The Happy Easter sign is also white chocolate.
Those details, though
Here’s the thing: this egg is AMAZING to look at because it’s iconic Donald Duck. It’s also sturdier than a lot of chocolate items — it didn’t melt in the sun on us and the mold stays firm. The taste is pure white chocolate (and we know not everyone loves that, so be warned). The fondant, though, tastes like we imagine Play-Doh would taste — it’s safe to say we were not fans of that part.
BUT…it didn’t taste great
There isn’t a LOT of flavor with this thing, though, but it is a MUST if you want an Easter treat to post on Instagram. It’s just not GREAT for eating. And for $25.99, it may not be worth it. But still, it made us smile every time we looked at it, so maybe it was worth it after all. You can grab it at Beach Club Marketplace at Disney’s Beach Club Resort.
