A New Sketchbook Ornament celebrating Disney television history is now available at Walt Disney World as part of the 100 Years of Wonder anniversary celebration.
Walt Disney’s Disneyland Living Magic Sketchbook Ornament – Disney100- $29.99
The collectible ornament is fully sculpted to look like a 1950s television, complete with flickering lights and synchronized sounds. It even features a Disneyland projection on the screen that resembles (and is inspired by) Walt Disney’s “DisneylandTV” Series, which originally aired in 1954.
Details certainly weren’t overlooked when crafting the back of this Disney100 collectible ornament. While the back of the television set features the official Disney100 logo, A/V inputs and switches appear to be in original 1950s condition.
The ornament also features a white ribbon for hanging with a clear Disney100 logo charm.
When pushed, the TV lights up and plays the theme from Walt Disney’s Disneyland TV Series:
“Walt Disney’s Disneyland…Each week as you enter this timeless land, one of these many worlds will open to you. Frontierland: tall tales and true from the legendary past. Tomorrowland: Promise of things to come. Adventureland: the wonder world of nature’s own realm. Fantasyland: the happiest kingdom of them all. Presenting this week, the Disneyland story!”
This ornament is one of many pieces of merchandise being released as part of the Disney100 Celebration Collections. If you can’t make it to the parks, this item is also available on shopDisney!
