Roundup Rodeo BBQ, a new table-service restaurant in Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, is finally open. Let’s take a tour of the themed restaurant.
Roundup Rodeo BBQ Exterior
Roundup Rodeo BBQ is just beyond the giant Woody statue near the main entrance to Toy Story Land.
Lanterns are tied onto the restaurant’s sign with giant green twist ties and black wire. Like the rest of the land, there are various Tinker Toy pieces around the sign.
Bullseye stands atop a green block decorated with a sheriff’s badge sticker. An orange block has a snake in a boot sticker.
A “hand-written” sign on notebook paper reads “Giddyup for Barbecue!”
Like the rest of Toy Story Land, Roundup Rodeo BBQ is made to look like it was constructed out of various toys. The main building resembles a cardboard box.
Andy drew a Western-style building on it with Jessie, Wheezy, and Bo Peep looking out of windows. Rounded banners above the main entrance were colored red, white, and different shades of blue – like Andy used up his first blue crayon.
Flat pieces on top depict Stinky Pete playing the triangle and Buttercup the unicorn leaping through the air. Flags are stuck on with colorful Silly Putty.
The entrance doors resemble barn doors and “Howdy partners!” is written above them.
A mural of Trixie the triceratops is on one side of the door. It resembles a box for a Trixie wooden pull toy, but Andy has glued a “Rodeo stunt team!” sign at the top and drawn Jessie riding Trixie.
On the other side of the door is a mural of Bo Peep and her sheep. Andy has drawn stars around them. “Deluxe Figurine Bo Peep” is along the top and Andy added a sticky note reading “And the leaping sheep!”
A tinker toy lamppost looks like it’s secured to the ground with Silly Putty.
A giant version of Woody’s belt buckle sits in the courtyard, near domino benches.
Another bench resembles a wooden train track.
Roundup Rodeo BBQ Interior
Entryway
The host stand is in an entryway featuring more murals of “Toy Story” characters.
One wall resembles a barn with horses looking out. Woody’s giant sheriff badge is leaning against the wall beneath a “Welcome Rodeo Fans!” banner.
One mural features “The Amazing Ropin’ Woody” lasso-ing Zurg.
Restrooms
The hallway to the restrooms has more walls made out of toy packaging.
Woody is next to the men’s restroom door.
Inside the restrooms, colorful tiles create rolling hills under a sunny sky across the walls. The stall doors look like red and white barn doors.
Jessie is next to the companion restroom door.
Dining Room
Onto the actual dining room! Here you’ll find mismatched tables and chairs around life-size figures of Woody and his pals.
A small Jessie figure riding the Trixie pull toy is at the center.
A board game featuring various critters makes up one section of the ceiling.
Other parts of the ceiling resemble comic book pages.
Some of the tables look like cartoon-ish wood.
There’s a flat of Woody riding Bullseye, with a rope running from him to Zurg.
Andy drew his own version of this Woody flat on the other side.
Other tables are solid, bright colors.
Bo Peep and her sheep stand under a spacey ceiling.
Bo and monkeys hold up a circle of rope for her sheep to jump through.
This table resembles a token reading “Blast!”
There’s a hotel façade next to a mine in one corner.
There’s a table sitting in the “mine,” which has a crayon-colored entrance and bat sticker.
On the wall is a token of Stinky Pete saying, “There’s gold in them thar hills!”
This wall is made out of a puzzle featuring Woody and Bullseye in the desert.
A section of floor looks like Woody’s red bandanna.
Some of the walls are made of giant playing cards featuring “Toy Story” characters.
A toy train is on a shelf held up with pencils.
Little Green Men are drawn on a wall next to a picture of Rex. A Buzz sticker has been cut to look like he’s riding Rex.
A popping corn box has been turned into a wall and awning, with drawings and figures on top.
The doorway leading to the kitchen looks like a cut carton of milk.
Monopoly cards make up the backs of a bench.
