REVIEW: Tasting This Year’s Peanut Butter Fudge and Chocolate Cream Fudge Easter Eggs at Disneyland

As Easter time rolls around again, we stopped at the Candy Palace on Main Street, USA at Disneyland to try the Peanut Butter Fudge and Chocolate Cream Fudge-flavored Easter eggs, making their annual return to the park on select days through Easter Sunday.

These eggs are available on every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday through Easter, but be quick to get them as they’ll go fast whenever they do become available! The line often stretches down Main Street, U.S.A. as it did for us.

Each egg was in a small plastic box decorated with colorful, patterned Easter eggs and grass. It has a very “spring-time” feel to it. There were two flavors available to try, out of five total: Peanut Butter Fudge and Chocolate Cream Fudge Easter Eggs. Flavors rotate depending on the days.

The eggs themselves are pretty big and thick and are coated with milk chocolate. They also have a small sugary daisy on top of each of them.

We cut open the egg to reveal a lot of peanut butter fudge and small chopped peanuts. The texture looks great and not too peanut-y. It looks like the saltiness from the peanut butter and nuts will counteract the sweetness from the milk chocolate.

Overall, we thought the Peanut Butter Easter Egg wasn’t bad. We found it to be very creamy, but had an outrageous, powerful peanut butter flavor. The closest thing we can compare it to is the inside of a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup. We think if you’re a big fan of peanut butter flavored desserts, you will love this.

The outside of both eggs are very similar. The only noticeable difference seems to be the color of the sugary daisy placed on top. The Peanut Butter Fudge Easter Egg had a pink daisy and the Chocolate Cream Fudge Easter Egg had a sugary purple daisy placed on top.

The inside of the Chocolate Cream Fudge Easter Egg looked so delicious and creamy inside. It looks very rich and chocolatey. We didn’t have very fond memories of the run-of-the-mill cream eggs that are available in stores every Easter, but we were excited to try this.

Overall, we thought this Easter egg was fantastic. The milky chocolate fudge was so creamy and decadent and was wrapped in a wonderful chocolate shell, a clearly winning combination. This egg was absolutely worth the effort spent to acquire these. We will even take it a step further and declare that this fudge is better than any other theme park fudge that exists.
