REVIEW: This Disney Festival Booth Brings the HEAT!

It’s time for another Disneyland Food & Wine Festival review!

Jammin’ Chefs!

This festival is from March 3 – April 25, 2023, in Disney California Adventure. There are 12 festival marketplaces to eat at, and we headed in to try them all and give you our honest reviews. Come with us to grab the eats over at Studio Catering Treats.

Menu

Studio Catering Treats has two items on their menu — one drink and one snack.

Studio Catering Treats

We obviously had to grab them both, so let’s get to tasting!

Food

For the food, you can grab the Korean Fried Chicken Slider for $7.99. It’s topped with gochujang sauce, kimchi, coleslaw, and pickled onions and served on sweet Hawaiian bread.

Korean Fried Chicken Slider

We’ll tell you one thing — this sandwich has got some serious kick to it! It’s one of the spiciest things we’ve ever had at the Disneyland Resort, but we really loved the flavor. There’s a little bit of sweetness at the first bite, and then the heat kicks in. We think serving this on a Hawaiian roll was a really great choice too because it helps cut through that heat. If you like spice, give this a try!

Drinks

Next up was the Watermelon Punch for $5.99, which is a Korean-style watermelon punch with Sprite and oat milk.

Watermelon Punch

We have one word for this: WEIRD. We enjoyed the watermelon chunks, but we were not fans of the mix of Sprite and milk. However, those who don’t mind similar mixtures, like Bubble Tea, may enjoy this one!

The Full Spread

And that’s all from this booth! You can check out all the festival menus right here so you can plan ahead what you may want to try. As always, stay tuned to DFB for all the latest Disney news!
