This Disney World Cake Would Be All Sunshine and Rainbows If It Weren’t for the PRICE

If you’re hungry and have a sweet tooth, you’re in luck. 🍀🐰

Amorette’s Patisserie

Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs is a fan-favorite location if you’re looking for a specialty sweet treat. From small cakes to mousses, Amorette’s has you covered! While we can almost always find something tasty from this shop, we got extra lucky this week.

The St. Patrick’s Day Petit at Amorette’s Patisserie is $22 and available from now until March 18th. We just bought it, so come along with us to see if it’s worth spending your lucky penny. (Let’s be real. ALL of your lucky pennies. This little guy is pricy!)

Amorette’s Patisserie

This petit cake is a spiced chiffon cake soaked with whiskey syrup and layers of Bailey’s Mousse, caramel-banana mousse, and a walnut crunch.

St. Patrick’s Day Petit

Our first impression was how BEAUTIFUL this cake is. It features a blue background with a colorful rainbow, pot of gold, and lucky clovers! Will it taste as good as it looks? Let’s find out!

It looks pretty! Will it taste even better?

Our first impression was that this cake is light, spongy, and fluffy. It was the perfect texture. The flavors of Bailey’s and banana were very prominent but bright and cool. We loved the walnut crunch that we got every few bites because it changed up the texture a bit. Do we even have to mention how much we loved the decorations? It was almost too pretty to eat… almost. 😉

Delicious!

Really, our only downside to this cake was the rainbow. It was made of gum paste instead of fondant like the rest of the outer layer of the cake. It was sticky and we didn’t like the flavor as much. Oh, and this cake is REALLY big. It could be hard to eat unless you were sitting down and fully prepared to dig in.

St. Patrick’s Day Petit

If you love bananas, fondant, Bailey’s, or Instagrammable desserts, you should definitely try the St. Patrick’s Day Petit Cake. On the other hand, if you don’t like fondant, Bailey’s, or bananas, maybe skip this one. Not to mention, this isn’t the most affordable dessert we’ve ever seen…

She’s a pricy one!
