The walkway next to the newly renamed Tomorrowland Launch Depot at Magic Kingdom has opened to all guests, meaning anyone can currently access Energy Bytes, the TRON snack stand. Only guests with a virtual queue group or individual Lightning Lane for TRON Lightcycle / Run can access the ride, which soft opened this week.
Except during previews, construction walls and planters have blocked access to TRON Lightcycle / Run for the past several months.
Now any guest can walk past the store — which has yet to reopen — and into the TRON courtyard.
Tomorrowland Launch Depot, previously known as Tomorrowland Light & Power Co., is being refurbished to better match TRON and the current theming of Tomorrowland.
Cast Members at the walkway next to the TRON Lightcycle / Run sign are stopping guests without virtual queue or Lightning Lane from approaching the attraction. The walkway to Storybook Circus is open.
Read our review of the unique Energy Bytes snacks.
There is now a PhotoPass photographer at the sign to take guest photos.
Have you had the chance to ride TRON Lightcycle / Run yet? If not, you can watch our POV video below.
