We Bet You Don’t Know This Obscure Disney World Trivia!

Animal Kingdom‘s DinoLand U.S.A. is a beloved part of the park and has a lot of history and trivia surrounding its creation.

DinoLand U.S.A.

The concept behind DinoLand U.S.A. is that it started as a “highway town” where dinosaur bones were found by amateur fossil hunters. There are plenty of hidden Easter eggs and fun facts about this land, and you might already know about some of them — but we bet you didn’t know THIS trivia!

Before we get to the trivia, you might need a little background info. The land itself has so many little nods to its backstory, including the duo of Chester and Hester.

DinoLand

Chester and Hester were locals that converted their gas station into a souvenir shop, turning their parking lot into “Chester and Hester’s Dino-Rama,” which features the TriceraTop Spin ride, various carnival games, and what they deemed as their own version of DINOSAUR (Primeval Whirl — which is actually now extinct).

DinoLand, U.S.A.

Throughout DinoLand U.S.A. you’ll hear a radio anchor commentating in between the songs that play in the land. But, where exactly is the radio station located in DinoLand? Do you know the answer?

Restaurantosaurus

The station anchor states that they’re “coming to you live from the teeny tiny attic of Restaurantosaurus!”

This makes perfect sense because the backstory of Restaurantosaurus is that it’s supposed to be run by the grad students who work at the Dino Institute. These grad students definitely made their own fun by starting this radio station and playing the day’s hits.

Restaurantosaurus

Restaurantosaurus is no stranger to theming, and lots of the decorations inside make it look like it is lived in by college-aged students. Keep following DFB for more fun facts about Disney World!
