We’re heading back into Magic Kingdom because there’s a LOT happening in this park.
TRON is currently in its soft opening, the 50th Anniversary is disappearing before our eyes, and spring break crowds are still majorly present in the parks. So let’s see what’s new in Magic Kingdom over the past week and a half!
Magic Kingdom Food Updates
Big Top Treats
Over at Big Top Treats, we noticed two new cupcakes for the Easter season! The Mickey and Minnie Easter Cupcakes can be yours for $5.49 each.
So cute!
Magic Kingdom Construction Updates
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is still coming along quite nicely! We noticed some of the blue scrim taken away from the scaffolding.
Meanwhile, the queue line is still looking about the same, but we can tell work is being done.
The attraction is set to open by the end of 2024 — we’ll keep documenting the progress until it is open!
Tomorrowland Launch Depot
Over at the Tomorrowland Launch Depot, the new sign is looking fantastic!
A new TRON experience is coming here soon — learn more about it here!
Adventureland
Lastly, we noticed some touch-up painting happening on one side of the Adventureland bridge. Didn’t seem like a major change, but definitely keep an eye on the wet paint signs at Disney World so you don’t accidentally bump into it!
And that’s all the construction updates from Magic Kingdom!

Magic Kingdom Miscellaneous Updates
50th Anniversary
We know that the 50th Anniversary is ending soon (on March 31st to be exact), which means that lots of the decorations themed to it are disappearing. We noticed this past week that some of the 50th Anniversary banners have been taken down from light posts in the park.
We also noticed a pressed penny machine with 50th Anniversary designs with a sticker saying it’ll be taken away soon.
While we’re sad to see them go, it’s been a great 18-month celebration.
Will Cinderella Castle Go Back to Its Original Colors After the 50th Anniversary?
