2022 Disney Dreamers Academy
No, we’re not talking about Spring Break. This week, Disney World is celebrating dreamers! Walt Disney himself was a dreamer, and so are most of the guests that come to Disney World. Imagineers are dreamers, too! However, a special group of dreamers will be in Disney World for an event that will also include celebrities!
This week, Disney is hosting a special annual event for participants in the company’s educational mentorship program, Disney Dreamers Academy. This four-day program has been designed to broaden career awareness and create exclusive enrichment opportunities for 100 Black high school students and teens from underrepresented communities.”

From March 22nd-26th, a variety of celebrity speakers, business leaders, authors, and more come to Disney World to inspire and mentor these young students. Last year, the dreamers even got to be in a special cavalcade in Magic Kingdom to celebrate the program’s 15-year anniversary!

Last year brought some pretty big names to Disney World, including Kelly Rowland, gospel artist Kierra Sheard, and more!

The Disney Dreamers were given some incredible opportunities to be inspired and mentored. It’s also a great time for everyone involved.
