2023 is a BIG year for Disney Cruise Line (DCL). Starting in May, DCL will begin its Silver Anniversary at Sea Celebration.

That’s right, DCL is turning 25! With this celebration will come special theming and, of course, new snacks themed to all things sea and sailing. In fact, a new POPCORN BUCKET is also coming out for the occasion! Typically, Disney fans put a lot of focus on the snacks in the parks, but let us be the first to tell you if you didn’t already know: the DCL snacks deserve just as much attention.

These sweet treats (and drinks) will be available at the dining locations and marketplaces aboard each of the Disney cruise ships, so if you’re headed on a Disney Cruise this year, pack your sweet tooth, because these treats look yummy. Let’s check out all the sweet silver-studded treats that DCL will be offering from May until September.

First up, we have the 25th Disney Cruise Line Cupcake, which is a vanilla sponge cake with vanilla frosting, 25th Anniversary chocolate decor, and sprinkles. The Mickey Chocolate Sphere is a chocolate Mickey-shaped sphere filled with assorted candy and adorned with the 25th Anniversary emblem.

Up next, we have the Chocolate Cream Cookie — a chocolate cookie with dulce de leche filling coated in dark chocolate and adorned with the 25th Anniversary print. The Celebration Cupcake is a red velvet sponge cake with vanilla frosting, sprinkles, and 25th Anniversary chocolate decor.

The Chocolate Soufflé will be among a new line of signature desserts served at the restaurants aboard the ships, and features double chocolate sauce, vanilla crémeanglaise, and vanilla bean gelato — all topped with a chocolate 25th Anniversary piece.

Are you more of a beverage kind of person? The Jubilee by the Sea cocktail is a mixture of 818 Blanco Tequila, Luxardo Maraschino, and lemon juice — all with a sparkly silver dusting and a shimmering blue sugar rim. It comes with a bookmark featuring how you can make your own version at home!

You’ll also be able to grab the Specialty Coffee Mug and the 25th Anniversary Beer Mug as souvenirs.

Finally, the moment you’ve been waiting for. You can get the Silver Anniversary at Sea Popcorn Bucket which showcases each of the Disney Cruise Line ships! Disney popcorn buckets are super popular collectibles, and this is going to be one of the toughest to get — you’ll have to be on a Disney cruise between May and September in order to get one on board the ships. That’s a very specific (and expensive) requirement to buy a collectible.

In case you’re not planning a Disney cruise this year, there are a lot of other new popcorn buckets to find in Disney World, including a cute Pumbaa one and a Disney Skyliner one.

Disney tells us that these are only a few of the new treats coming to the 25th Anniversary lineup — others include a special carrot cake and a crisped rice treat!
