CEO Bob Iger has just announced that Disneyland and Walt Disney World will not be bringing back the Premier Pass.
During the 2023 Annual Meeting of Shareholders, Iger stated that there was “not enough interest” and the Premier Pass “didn’t really achieve much in the way of accessibility.”
The Disney Premier Pass was the ultimate pass that allowed United States residents to access the Walt Disney World Resort parks and Disneyland Resort parks for an entire year. The price for the pass began at $700 when it was introduced in 2010. It was over $2,000 before it was discontinued during the pandemic.
