Disney Announces 2 NEW Attractions Coming to Tokyo Disney Resort

Heading to Tokyo Disney this year?

Tokyo Disneyland Resort

We’ve seen the Tokyo Disney Resort go through some changes this year starting with its 40th anniversary celebration, brand new parades, and even a change in the park’s COVID-19 policy. We just found out about some new additions that will be coming later this year.

Get ready for a “rootin’ tootin’” good time at Tokyo Disney Resort with not one, but two new stage shows! Tokyo Disneyland will be home to “The Diamond Variety Muster” at The Diamond Horseshoe, and Tokyo DisneySea will feature “Duffy and Friends’ Wonderful Friendship” at Cape Cod Cook-Off. Here are the details on the menus at these two restaurants.

Starting on September 1st, 2023, The Diamond Horseshoe at Tokyo Disneyland will feature Clarabelle Cow and Horace Horsecollar in their own show called, “The Diamond Variety Muster.” The show will have a range of performances, from romantic ballads to comedic skits. And if you’re feeling hungry, they’ve got you covered with tastes from the American West from horseshoe-shaped bread to tortilla rolls, sausages, fried chicken, and more. There are options for the kiddos like meat patties, sausages, and fried shrimp.

At Tokyo DisneySea, Duffy and the gang are debuting “Duffy and Friends’ Wonderful Friendship” at Cape Cod Cook-Off starting July 4th, 2023. This show features the park’s first-ever appearance of CookieAnn, ‘Olu Mel, and LinaBell in a stage show. Together, all seven friends — Duffy, ShellieMay, Gelatoni, StellaLou, and the new characters — will showcase their unique talents, from drawing pictures to making decorations and more. The menu is packed with Duffy-themed items, including the Cape Cod Cook-Off First Prize Set with a Strawberry & Milk Mousse that depicts Duffy’s face.

By the way, more changes are happening over at the Polynesian Terrance Restaurant. Mickey’s Rainbow Luau will be returning there on September 1st, 2023. Mickey Mouse and his friends will celebrate Polynesian-style music and dance. New menu items will include foods themed to loco moco and malasada.
