Disney Drops a CLUE about the FUTURE of the Disney Dining Plan

The Disney Dining Plan has come and gone, but that doesn’t mean we don’t still think about it every day.

Disney has teased that it will return in the future but hasn’t really mentioned it in a long time — and we’re beginning to wonder if we’ll ever see it again. Fortunately, we have seen a few similar promos pop up — the Dining Promo Card and Quick Service Dining Cards, which allowed guests to book vacation packages with pre-paid, discounted dining cards to be used at select locations. Now, it looks like Disney has released ANOTHER package — and it’s still not the Disney Dining Plan.

Disney has shared a new promotion for UK residents that rewards them for booking their next year’s holiday early. With the 2024 Early Booker Package, visitors who book by July 6th, 2023, are eligible for a dining and merch credit, discounted theme park tickets, and a Disney Gift Card.

Guests who stay for two weeks at select Disney hotels will receive:

  • Up to $2,100 on a Dining & Merchandise Credit. August-September arrivals are eligible for up to $2,100 per room. Jan-December arrivals are eligible for up to $1,200 per room.
  • 14-day ticket for the price of a 7-day ticket. This is available on most 2024 arrivals and includes Memory Maker (worth $199).
  • Up to $400 Disney Gift Card. Get a $200 Gift Card with a Hotel & Ticket Package, or get a $400 Gift Card when you book a flight-inclusive package.

What does this mean for the Disney Dining Plan (DDP)? Well, often we see deals in the UK before a similar one pops up in the U.S. Unfortunately, the 2024 packages don’t make any mention of the DDP, so it appears that Disney will continue offering deals with dining and merchandise credits rather than bring the plan back — at least for the time being.

The Disney Dining Plan was a popular package!

In the meantime, this package is available for those booking by July 6th, so if you’re in the UK — keep this deal in mind. For those of us in the US, this promotion could be making its way across the pond soon, so stay tuned!

We’ll keep an eye out for any more updates about Disney promotions, so follow along to DFB for more.
