One of the most fun things about Disney World is that there are so many hidden gems to see and interesting things to learn about!
Pizzarizzo
There are some secrets hidden all throughout the parks and the hotels at Disney World that make for great scavenger hunts. And we found one in Disney’s Hollywood Studios that we’re sharing with you today.
We love finding all the fun and unexpected details that Cast Members and Imagineering hide all over the parks. Now, take a stroll with us over toward the Muppets Courtyard in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, home of Muppet*Vision 3D.

Here you’ll find a fountain with Miss Piggy as Lady Liberty in the center of the courtyard (which is an attraction in its own right). Behind the fountain is the PizzeRizzo quick service restaurant, themed to Rizzo the Rat. We’re not huge fans of the food at this spot, but it’s not a bad place to grab a snack if you’re in a pinch (or if you’re traveling with picky eaters). But one advantage of this restaurant is that it has some fun details to check out.

Over the outdoor balcony seating area, you can see a sign pointing to the restaurant. There’s actually a really cool secret detail hidden in that sign! The trick is that you have to look at it at NIGHT. Take a look at the video and see if you can spot it.
Did you spot it? Here, let’s zoom in on it. The sign says “This City’s Top Rated Pizza” in neon yellow lettering…

…but some of the letters flash on and off, and when they’re off, the sign instead reads “it’s rat pizza”!

And now you can’t un-see it. What a cool nod to Rizzo the Rat! Although we have to admit…”rat pizza” doesn’t necessarily sound like the most appetizing snack.
