Recently, we took a closer look at some of the LEGO sets that are set to be released in celebration of the Disney100 anniversary, and I was in awe of the creativity that went into one in particular, the UP! House. I started to think about how beautifully some of the Disney attractions could be turned into LEGO versions of themselves. As a child, I would try to replicate the Pirates of the Caribbean ride from memory, using slopes made out of cardboard covered in blue sharpie to create the drops. Something tells me LEGO could develop a slightly more sophisticated version than I did.
Let’s do a bit of LEGO Imagineering, which isn’t an actual thing, but let’s make it one! What Disney attraction would you turn into a LEGO set? We’ve seen the mini Haunted Mansion from LEGO, but I would be interested to see an enormous one, something that opens up to reveal all the little rooms and areas from the attraction, from Madame Leota to the dancing ghosts in the ballroom. I want all the details in there!
What would you add to the LEGO lineup from the Disney attractions list?
