Follow us to Fantasyland toward Enchanted Tales with Belle. Fantasyland is truly home to Magic Kingdom’s most classic attractions. And with the 2012 expansion of Fantasyland, the land added a headliner to the list with the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train!

Continue by Be Our Guest Restaurant towards Gaston’s Tavern. Nestled at the base of the Beast’s Castle is Gaston’s Tavern. As guests approach the pub in this French village, the impressive fountain highlights Gaston’s super-ego. We suggest stepping inside for a Cinnamon Roll!

After the tavern, venture across the way to Bonjour! Village Gifts, where we invite you to stroll to the left side (towards the restrooms) of the building. Stop and take in the beautiful, architectural features as this store got a makeover in 2021!

Is this an Imagineering detail for small Fantasyland friends?
We love this small, imaginative door!
Recently, a former Disney Cast Member, Danielle (thedapperdanielle on TikTok), mused that this door exists due to a miscalculation during the construction of New Fantasyland. Basically, the round manhole (and plumbing underneath) would have been covered up had the wall of the merchandise store been constructed in a straight line. Instead, this tiny door was created to blend into the wall and allow for the wall to bypass the manhole.

For whatever the reason it was constructed, we love this Imagineering detail! Visiting Disney World’s Magic Kingdom is always awe-inspiring; magic really does exist around every corner!
