Living PROOF that Genie+ Can Be WILDLY Helpful in Disney World

It’s spring break season and so much is happening in Disney World!

Magic Kingdom

The EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival is in full swing, the 50th anniversary has officially ended bringing many changes to the parks, and TRON Lightcycle / Run’s opening is just days away! So with all of this excitement and the spring break crowds heading to the parks, what do the wait times look like right now?

Wait times have decreased over the past couple of weeks, however, there are some times when you can definitely benefit from purchasing Genie+.

Lightning Lane

Genie+ is Disney’s skip-the-line system that allows you to book a time to use the Lightning Lane for an expedited wait time. This can be a huge time-saver in parks like Hollywood Studios where most rides have long wait times throughout the day. The price of Genie+ depends on the day since Disney introduced flexible pricing earlier this year, however, we’ve seen the price fluctuate between $15 and $29 per person per day.

This Is NOT Something We Expected to See in Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Genie+ could come in handy, especially around this time of year Disney World. Seriously, some of these wait times are no joke! It is important to note that this is another expense that can add up really fast depending on how many people are in your group. Reminder — Genie+ has sold out recently and it could sell out on your trip, too! If you don’t want to buy Genie+, we recommend rope dropping (arriving at the park before opening time) and/or staying until the park closes for shorter wait times.
