Change is inevitable in Disney World, and that was always part of Walt’s original vision.

Rides come… and rides go. Hotels get updated. New buildings get constructed. Big celebrations end — just like the 50th Anniversary Celebration JUST ended. Now, because of that ending, a big change has happened at one store in Disney World.
If you’ve been to Disney Springs, we can imagine you’re familiar with World of Disney, the MASSIVE Disney store in the shopping area. In fact, it’s so massive, it’s actually the BIGGEST Disney store in the world! This is where you can find almost ANY kind of Disney souvenir you might imagine.

Well, as of today, there is a completely Pixar-themed area!
The 50th display is gone
The displays here are FULL of Pixar merchandise.

The display includes some Pixar shirts, tumblers, blankets, plates, and more. Plus you’ll see the iconic Pixar lamp on top of the display.

We also noticed that the 50th projection on the floor was gone — it’s now a Pixar projection.

This projection changes, too! So if you walk into World of Disney, don’t forget to look down.

However, if you’re still looking for 50th anniversary merchandise, we’re still seeing it available in stores and it seems like Disney plans on continuing to sell it for a while. You can also still find some 50th gear available online. You might think that this merchandise would be on sale, but only a few items have been marked down. But, hey, it IS still available, so grab it if you missed out on anything.
