At the parks, no matter where you look, you’ll find people taking pictures of everything. Be it pics of snacks, decor, or favorite rides, the parks are a great place to capture those vacation memories.
Usually we see a ton of people taking pictures, but today, one part of Magic Kingdom was blocked off for a professional photo shoot!
While we were walking down Main Street, U.S.A., we looked to the right down Center Street and saw that part of the area was blocked off and filled with photography equipment and lights.
This photo shoot was likely for a promotional event, and the area was blocked off by a rope with a sign that said: “reserved.” Don’t worry — you could still access the shops in the area via entrances on Main Street.
Have you ever thought about having your Disney vacation photos taken by a professional? The photo shoot we saw wasn’t one of the Capture Your Moment sessions (the private photo shoots you can reserve with Disney PhotoPass photographers) — those don’t come with spotlights and light diffusers. But you can have some pretty fancy photos taken in the parks!
Capture Your Moment photo sessions are add-on extras that you reserve in advance through the Disney World website. You will be able to have a private photo shoot with a Disney PhotoPass photographer.
As far as pricing, one session will cost $99, and you can have up to 8 guests. Once you check in and are escorted to your photo location, the clock starts running for your 20-minute photo shoot.
The most important thing to note is that the photo downloads are not included in the cost of the session, but if you have the Memory Maker add-on, you will be able to access your pictures at no extra cost. Individual photos are also available for purchase.
If you’re interested in having a photo shoot, we’d recommend checking the Walt Disney World website for more info and we’ll keep you updated with all things Disney, so stay tuned to DFB!
