To coincide with the upcoming Earth Day and 25th anniversary of Disney’s Animal Kingdom, the Discovery River Character Cruise has some new additions greeting guests today. Koda and Kenai from the film “Brother Bear” could be spotted cruising along this morning:
Between April 16 and April 23, an expanded array of unique characters are joining this Adventure Flotilla, who traverse the Animal Kingdom waterways — waving and interacting with visitors on the walkways as they pass through. The full announcement from Walt Disney World explains:
Mickey, Minnie and Scrooge McDuck are just some of the Disney Characters to be found on flotillas along the Discovery River in Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park. Plus, from April 16 through 23, there will be unique Character appearances on the Discovery River Character Cruise—so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for these and additional Character experiences and sightings.
The Discovery River flotillas start and end in the Discovery River Amphitheater. They go completely around Discovery Island and are viewable from many areas in the park.
