Select lightsaber hilts are currently 30% off at Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland.
Eight hilts are discounted. Blades for the lightsaber hilts are sold separately. Most of the discounted hilts are $169.99, so would be $118.99 after the discount. A $159.99 hilt would be $111.99.
The hilts are on display in Dok-Ondar’s and come in cases when purchased.
Darth Maul Lightsaber
There are two different Darth Maul lightsaber hilts.
This one is the hilt seen in “Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace,” when it was revealed as the first double-ended lightsaber.
Shadow Maul Lightsaber
This version of Darth Maul’s lightsaber is featured in season seven of “Star Wars: The Clone Wars.”
It can also be double-ended.
Both Darth Maul hilts light a blade up red.
Count Dooku Lightsaber
Count Dooku’s lightsaber is curved, with a spike reaching over the blade.
Dooku’s hilt lights a blade up blue.
Darth Sidious Lightsaber
Darth Sidious, a.k.a. Emperor Palpatine, has a rounded silver and gold hilt.
This was the first rechargeable lightsaber hilt.
It will light up a blade red.
Plo Koon Lightsaber
Jedi Master Plo Koon served on the Jedi High Council.
He has a long hilt with several rings near the blade.
His lightsaber is blue.
Reforged Skywalker Lightsaber
The reforged Skywalker lightsaber was used by Rey in “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.”
It has a brown leather band around the center but otherwise resembles its previous design as Anakin’s lightsaber hilt.
It lights up blue.
Luminara Lightsaber
Luminara Unduli was another Jedi Master.
Her hilt is not unlike Plo Koon’s, but with golden accents.
The blade will light up green.
Leia Lightsaber
Finally, Leia’s lightsaber was only seen briefly in a flashback of “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.”
It’s an almost orange gold with silver accents and lights a blade up blue.
Some of these lightsaber hilts are also on sale on shopDisney. Which one is your favorite? Let us know in the comments.
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opened at Disneyland in May 2019 and at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in August 2019. The two versions of the land are nearly identical, although sometimes have different minor offerings.
The main attractions of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge are Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Food and beverage locations include the Milk Stand, Kat Saka’s Kettle, Ronto Roasters, Oga’s Cantina, and Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo.
Shops in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge are Savi’s Workshop — where guests can create custom lightsabers — Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities, Mubo’s Droid Depot, Bina’s Creature Stall, Toydarian Toymaker, Resistance Supply, First Order Cargo, and Black Spire Outfitters.
Characters like Rey, Chewbacca, and Kylo Ren can sometimes be seen wandering the land. Vi Moradi is an original Resistance fighter character created just for the land. The Mandalorian and Grogu began making appearances last fall.
Disney scrapped plans to create a large creature, Elee, that could carry guests around Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge due to budget concerns.
Adjacent to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios is Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, an immersive “Star Wars” hotel experience that includes a visit to Batuu. Though generally reviewed well, demand for the pricy experience has fallen significantly since it opened a year ago. Check out our most recent Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser review.
