VIDEO: A NEW Meet and Greet Is Now OPEN in Disney World!

Part of the fun of going to Disney World is meeting our favorite characters — and there are just SO many to meet.

Animal Kingdom

Obviously, meeting Mickey and Minnie is a priority for many. But you can also meet some of your favorite princesses, the occasional rare character, and even Disney villains. But a NEW character spot has popped up to meet Disney World. Here’s a hint: how far will YOU go to meet her?

Yep. We’re talking about Moana! Now, we first learned that Moana would start meeting guests in Disney’s Animal Kingdom on April 22nd. So we HAD to go see our favorite explorer and seafarer! We were invited to a media event to meet her before she starts meeting with guests – how fun! Look at how they have her area all setup.

This feels like Moana’s island

We love the banners with all the Moana symbols, but look — PUA!

PUA

Moana came out to say hello to us, and we’ll admit, we were VERY excited to meet her.

There she is!

Seriously, she’s so much fun to meet. For times on when you can meet Moana, check the My Disney Experience app — she’s already in there with several times listed for the day!

If you want to meet her, you can find her on Discovery Island (of course, she’s on an ISLAND for her meet and greet) at Animal Kingdom. As you walk over the bridge towards the Tree of Life, make a right turn towards DinoLand. The entrance for visitors will be right before the DinoLand sign.

So if you’ve got Moana fans in your group, be sure to head to her new meet and greet — she can’t wait to meet everyone!
