What Every Disney World Annual Passholder Will Be Doing at 2:01PM on April 18th

Strap on your party hats, people. While April 18th isn’t a major holiday, we can think of a few people who will be celebrating the day in Disney World. Soon, our Annual Passholder friends will be livin’ it up in the parks thanks to a MAJOR change!

Spontaneous trip to Space Mountain, anyone?

Ever wished you could stroll through the gates of the Magic Kingdom without a park pass reservation? Have you and your friends ever imagined an impromptu trip to EPCOT? Well, if you’re an Annual Passholder, you’re going to want to hear this news.

In case you missed it, Disney shared that the Park Pass reservation system is changing for Disney World Annual Passholders. Soon, Passholders will have a little extra flexibility when it comes to entering the parks.

Does anyone feel like visiting Animal Kingdom?

Let’s talk specifics. Starting on April 18th, Annual Passholders will be able to visit the Walt Disney World theme parks after 2PM WITHOUT a Park Pass reservation. Now, there are some exceptions. Annual Passholders will still need to book a Park Pass if they plan on visiting Magic Kingdom on Saturdays and Sundays.

You will still need a reservation to get into Magic Kingdom on the weekend!

So, what does this mean for April 18th? Well, we may not have a crystal ball like Madame Leota, but we have a feeling that we may see some Passholders testing the new rule change come 2:01PM on April 18th. Look out for some Annual Passholding-trailblazers on the big day!
