If you haven’t been to Disneyland Resort in a while, you’ve missed a LOT of pretty big changes.

There’s a brand-new Disney Vacation Club lounge in Tomorrowland, the Matterhorn Bobsleds are STILL closed for refurbishment, and a new attraction is getting ready to debut in Disney California Adventure. On top of that, there are a TON of new souvenirs at the various gift shops throughout the parks! Come along with us to check out every single update at Disneyland Resort.

Disneyland Construction Updates

A brand-new Disney Vacation Club lounge is now open in Tomorrowland.

It’s called the Disney Vacation Club Star View Station – a Member Lounge, and it officially opened on April 19th.

Disney announced that members will be able to relax, cool off, and enjoy some “out of this world” amenities such as Disney Vacation Club member services on-site, complimentary Wi-Fi, device charging stations, and complimentary beverages.

We also stopped by the Matterhorn Bobsleds and saw that they are still closed. This ride will be closed through June 1st, so it’s expected to open on June 2nd.

There was more construction happening over near Club 33, the Mint Julep Bar, and the Pandora Store.

A NEW restaurant called Tiana’s Palace will be replacing the former French Market Restaurant soon — Disney announced that it should open sometime this year! (The Mint Julep Bar, which was located in the French Market, is also closed; however, it will reopen to serve its famous beignets and Mint Juleps along with Tiana’s Palace.) We stopped by the construction site to take a look at the progress.

We also saw that lots of the scaffolding has been removed at the Adventureland Treehouse. This attraction (formerly Tarzan’s Treehouse) is expected to open sometime this year. Disney’s website states that it “will reopen in a fresh, new way in 2023 as Adventureland Treehouse, a whimsical attraction inspired by Walt Disney’s Swiss Family Robinson.”

Over in Disney California Adventure, the sign is officially up for the new Rogers: The Musical show that’s coming to the Hyperion Theater!

The musical will debut on June 30th, 2023.
