Universal Studios Japan has announced that The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man will close permanently on January 22, 2024.

Universal Studios Japan will continue to challenge the possibilities of “NO LIMIT!”

We will continue to grow and evolve the park experience to “infinity.”

“The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man ” will close on Monday, January 22, 2024.

With great gratitude for the bonds that have been made with everyone for 20 years since the opening, “The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man” final campaign will be held from Tuesday, July 4, 2023.

Ever since the park opened in 2001, Universal Studios Japan has provided the world’s highest quality entertainment. We will continue to evolve with a strong desire to deliver “impossible excitement and excitement” to everyone.

In 2020, the new brand slogan “NO LIMIT!” has embedded into the minds of consumers, and been selected as one of the largest brands in Japan by “Brand Japan 2023” (Nikkei BEConsulting) and received high praise, such as winning first place in the general consumer edition.

Since it’s opening on January 23, 2004, the popular attraction “The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man” has brought excitement and exhilaration to many people, including Japanese and international guests. During the last 20 years, it has impressed over 100
million guests.

As a token of our gratitude, the “Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man” final campaign will be held from July 4, 2023 (Tuesday) to
January 22, 2024 (Monday), which is the last day of the operation. “The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man” is the first attraction in history to have won the World’s No. 1 Ride award for seven years in a row. This is a ride that has gained tremendous popularity both in Japan and overseas as a super-exciting attraction where you can immerse yourself in an unimaginable sense of reality while running through the streets of New York with Spider-Man on a thrilling adventure.

We plan to add more attractions in the tuture, and will inform you on the official website.

“The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man” Final Campaign

The final campaign will include a commemorative sticker, merchandise, and more.

A special Express Pass package to secure your final ride will be available.

Backdraft and Terminator 2: 3-D will also be closing permanently.
