A new Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway Chuuby ear headband is available at World of Disney. We found it in World of Disney at Disney Springs.

Chuuby Ear Headband – $34.99

The ear headband has a plush Chuuby — a small yellow and white bird — between two translucent yellow ears.

Black music notes are across the ears and colorful confetti is inside them.

The headband is teal green and lined with soft velour.

This Chuuby ear headband was first released at Disneyland Resort when Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway opened in Mickey’s Toontown.

Chuuby is frequently featured in Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway merchandise. He is the friendly orange cartoon bird residing in Runamuck Park. He lives in the train barn adjacent to the Runamuck Railroad station and enjoys entertaining guests with his charming personality.

According to the ride’s lore: “Joyfully whistling up in the train barn or tunnel entrance, Chuuby is a merry resident of Runamuck Park and the essence of his happy surroundings. This multi-talented song-and-dance bird has aspirations of one day performing on the big stage!”

Disney Imagineer Kevin Rafferty created the original character Chuuby for Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway. According to The OC Register, originally intended to be named “Chubby,” a typo during a development meeting led to the adoption of the name “Chuuby,” which was deemed more endearing. Additionally, the three baby birds hatched from eggs in the train barn loop are referred to as the “Chuubettes.”
