There’s truly no limit to how many times Universal Studios Japan can say “NO LIMIT!” in an event name. Case in point, the park has announced its plans for NO LIMIT! Summer for July and August, which includes a special splashy Super Mario water show, the annual One Piece Premier Show, and more!
From July 5 to August 24, 2023, guests visiting Universal Studios Japan can participate in the new “Super Mario Power-Up Summer” show, featuring tons of water as well as the first park appearance of Bowser, Jr.!
The show takes place at Gramercy Park in the New York area, where Mario, Luigi, and Peach have burst out of Super Nintendo World to celebrate the summer with guests. This show involves plenty of guest participation and lots of fun with the pals from the Mushroom Kingdom, but it all comes crashing down when Bowser, Jr. decides to wreck the party! Tons of gallons of water will splash on guests from the stage and all around the viewing area to keep you cool during the hot, humid Osaka summer.
Guests can even purchase a special water shooter to use during the show to Power-Up their own interactivity with friends and other guests! Kids and adults alike can get in on the splish-splashy fun with Mario and pals during “Super Mario Power-Up Summer”
Meanwhile as is tradition every year, the One Piece Premier Show will return to the Waterworld arena this summer. From July 5 to October 10, fans of the classic Shonen Jump manga and anime series can join their favorite Straw Hat Pirates in another new adventure. This year’s story features Luffy and the gang saving three princesses framed for committing a heinous crime in their home country. Can Luffy and the gang save them before it’s too late?
As always, an upcharge ticket is required to experience the One Piece Premier Show, with ticket sales kicking off on May 23 for the general public here on the Universal Studios Japan website. Prices for adults are as follows:
- S-Tier seats: ¥5500 ($40.71)
