Our Honest Opinions on the Enchanted Rose Lounge in Disney World

Disney World hotels are much more than just a hotel.

Grand Floridian Resort

There are some good perks to staying at a Disney resort like early entry to the parks or even extended hours at night. While sometimes discount deals are offered to stay at these resorts, not everyone can afford to or want to stay on property. However, you don’t have to stay at a Disney hotel to be able to enjoy what these hotels have to offer and a big thing they offer is great dining options. Today, we’re going to head to the Grand Floridian resort to visit The Enchanted Rose.

The Enchanted Rose Lounge is a Beauty and the Beast-inspired lounge with elegant drinks and appetizers. We recently visited Enchanted Rose. Come with us to see how it went!

Atmosphere

The lounge features four different rooms, each of which has been inspired by a different iconic Beauty and the Beast element. First is the bar area. This room centers around the large bar beneath a gold chandelier that was inspired by Belle’s dress.

The Bar

You can find a seat at the bar itself or at one of the small tables around the bar. Those tables have gorgeous views of the Grand Floridian and Seven Seas Lagoon.

The views

The Garden Room was inspired by the Enchanted Forest. You can see large forest murals on the wall and the theme transfers to the forest green walls, booths, and seating. Take a look at those light fixtures, as well — they are shaped like tree branches to really transport you to the forest.

The Garden Room

If you are looking for a more scenic view, there is an outdoor patio. Servers from the bar do come out to wait on you just like inside the bar. If you are looking for something in the fresh air and with a great view, this is a good option.

Outdoor Seating

Finally, The Library is inspired by the great library in the Beast’s castle. The Library is a large room with a lot of seating, and we found it to be very comfortable and inviting. There are two large bar tables that can seat parties of 6.

There are plenty of hidden details in the library.

There are also couches and comfortable chairs for you to relax in.

There were some great easter eggs in here! Like this Cogsworth

How beautiful

Mrs. Potts!

… and of course, Lumiere.

Each table had a blue book menu and a candle placed on it.

Drinks

We started out with the Garden Spritzer for $13. This drink contains Seedlip Garden 108 Herbal Distilled Non-alcoholic Spirit, Lime, Agave, and Soda. We liked this drink, but didn’t taste many herbal notes. It tasted mainly of soda with hints of lime.

Garden Spritzer

We also ordered the Island Rose for $17.50. This tropical drink features Ketel One Grapefruit and Rose, Lime, Orgeat (Almond), Pineapple, Bitters, and Rose Water. It comes topped with a mint leaf and pineapple garnish. This drink was fruity and refreshing — perfect for a hot day.

Eats

For food, we started with the seasonal flatbread. This flatbread was topped with Artichoke, Fig, Ricotta, Roasted Garlic, and Watercress for $18. The flavors were light, and the artichoke and ricotta were the main flavors.

Seasonal Flatbread

The flatbread itself tasted great and had a light, crisp crust. If you aren’t a fan of these vegetables, though, you might want to choose something else.

The top

We did like that this is easily shareable, and a great light snack before dinner!

A slice

Next, we tried the Croquettes for $19. These were filled with house-made Fennel Sausage, covered in Tomato Sauce, and topped with Pecorino Romano.

The Croquettes

The croquettes had the perfect amount of breading on them to make them crispy, but not so much breading that it overpowered the sausage. The tomato sauce was the star of the show, and we recommend dipping the croquettes in the sauce. It added a lot of flavor to the dish.

We recommend dipping it in the sauce.

We did want the sausage flavor to be a bit stronger and perhaps even spicer. We feel like that could have really elevated the dish.

Inside the croquettes

However, at $19 for four small croquettes, this is something you could skip ordering.

Overall

We love the theming of this lounge! It’s a great mix of Disney and elegance. The special nods to the Beauty and the Beast movie are hidden, but as Disney adults, we appreciate them.

The Library

We enjoyed the four different seating areas, and how each is unique and can offer you a different experience. The service was great, and our server was very knowledgeable about the menu, the lounge, and the drinks. He could describe each item in great detail, and he was very attentive.

Our Order

The drinks were good, and we would order them again. However, while the food did taste good, we feel like for lounge food and smaller portions, this is not the place to go for your full dinner — as you are paying close to dinner prices for appetizers.

Nosh or Not?

You should head to Enchanted Rose if…

  • You love a great cocktail.
  • You are looking to just grab a drink before dinner at a monorail resort.
  • You are wanting a quieter lounge compared to Trader Sam’s or Tambu Lounge.

You should skip Enchanted Rose if…

  • You are looking for a traditional table service meal.
  • You are not willing to go out of your way to get there.
  • You are not a fan of fancy cocktails or wines.
